- A STRANGE LOOP has found its Usher! Introducing Jaquel Spivey who is making his professional debut in this Broadway-bound musical. Michael R. Jackson's Pulitzer-winning production also features original cast members Antwayn Hopper, James Jackson Jr., L Morgan Lee, John-Michael Lyles, John-Andrew Morrison, Jason Veasey; and Christopher Michael Richard joins the cast as Understudy. In-person performances begin November 22!

@@kellicvred he really should have won, but the sad thing is that he fell ill and was out of the show during a chunk of the Tony voting weeks and voters didn't get to see him. (He posted about it online)They are not allowed to vote for performances they have not seen. I so feel for him because he lays himself bare on that stage and gives the best male lead performance in a musical on Broadway right now.
The whole cast is amazing. I really dig the lead character, what a great voice.
I've watched this like two dozen times. His reaction never gets old. So happy for him and the cast!!
