Deer tested for chronic wasting disease after being tranquilized on U of A campus

After about five hours of the deer running into windows of a University of Arkansas dorm, officials were able to tranquilize the animal and test it for CWD.

CWD doesn't transfer to humans currently. The one you should be worried about is Mad Cow Disease, a similar one which you get from beef.

@@kmessix4383Unless you’re eating at like a 1 star rated restaurant, there is almost no chance that you will ever get something like mad cow disease in your whole entire life. Stuff like this is serious, so all farms (cow owners or whatever I don’t know if there’s a specific term) have to test each herd for mad cow disease. I don’t know what they do with cows that have the disease, probably *incinerate* them or something, but all you should know is that you’re basically fine. For now.
