To anyone interested, remove Vivint from your life, they are ridiculous to deal with and DO NOT let a technician into your home to check your panel, it will crash days later!
I'm right along with you I got vivant last month the sales rep lied out his ass to me about almost everything and now I'm stuck removing the system bc they won't come out and take it out like they said they would
I had the same issue with the sales rep lying to me. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one. Now I’m stuck with all this hardwired equipment in my house.
@@mikeyb817 I looked back at the video and 4 screws were holding the base plate to the stucco. I removed those, turned off the power, and disconnected the wires.

He lied to me too and I got rid of them too.
This video is NOT a how to remove a vivant doorbell. You should remove it or rename is to what size tool to use.
Agreed…. Horrible video
I think it's a T5
he said he used the T3 to get it off
Which company did you replace Vivint with?
I didn’t. I no longer have a system. I have mixed feelings…..
They are a freaking ripe off
How did you get rid of the base plate?
At this moment I don’t remember. It was simple. Let me look back through the footage to see if was just one screw and will update you…
@@JamesSaineI'd like to know as well
