Ridge Monkey or Not ? For my Talbot Express."Double Sided Magic Griddle "

Trying to decide if a Ridge Monkey Toaster thing will work in our Motorhome. They are expensive for what they are. Is it worth taking the risk of just getting one. Mixed reviews on RUclips. No lid seals. Leaky on sides when flipped etc. Maybe a smaller SQ would be better.

I think I'll get same as yours, the ridge monkey can leak oil out when turning and be messy but is good enough for a campfire or barbecue set up, the toast one is tiny and makes toasties and is made to take two pieces of bread, one on top of the other with filling of choice in between.
My hob in my talbot is different from yours though, no sides to get in the way.
Is it heavy? Cheers.
Oh, perhaps the heat rising from your grill may heat it enough ( the hotplate part as you said ) as the lid on these make them really efficient, maybe worth a try although it just may end up being a slow cooker, also turn each ring on way down to a low setting giving a little boost.
Anyhow that definitely looks as though it's way better than mister monkey lol 😊
