I just upgraded your design with a few modifications and it works even better. It's so OP! It is now a 3 by 3 by 3 hole. First, waterlog the first 2 layers. In the middle of the bottom layer put a scaffolding block and surround each side of the scaffolding with 4 bottom slabs, 1 for each side. Put any block on top of the scaffolding which this is the second layer. On the top layer place 7 glass leaving one for the upside-down dispenser with a button on top and the middle being water with armor stand in it. Problems I fixed: entity cramming does not limit this farm anymore, only how fast the player can pickup XP can which is an unfixable problem for all XP farms. I also made it so that really powerful swords does not hurt the allays. The armor stand does not break from fire aspect too.
Disclaimer, do not make the hole in stone, it somehow slipped my mind that the silverfish will not only infest said stone, but then break it after you hit them, releasing the allays.
Yes, but its hard asf cuz u have to duplicate the allays whit the music dics, if u don't have just search 24 allays and try to put them all in a 1x1 hole

@@cabbagepigeon93 The problem is, that if the chunk they are in is only partially loaded, by being at the edge of the chunck loading radius of a player they will still take damage but don't regenerate any health. So If the grinder stays too long in a partially loaded chunk everyone will just die. Camp fire designes allow for you to turn off the campfire and relite it with a flint an dsteal but this one is not really possible to turn off.
@cabbagepigeon93 Yes. But it's not in that design. So with this design you have to either add that mechanism yourself, or manually remove the water each time.
I have an idea, place a door on side then if you're not gonna use the farm just remove the water so they wont die then place it back if you're gonna use it

It can work in bedrock aswell but you have to unwaterlog the slab about 5 seconds after they start taking damage just so they don’t die
I just tried this on bedrock. Finally got all my Allay's, waterlogged the block, and they all drowned to death.
look up one for bedrock this is java edition 😊
@@gawdlycomp959 u know what's funny, the bedrock one is more op if using the potion of infesitation tactic. 🤷♂
Idk what it is but the Allays do drown after a while (Yes on Java). Make sure you guys leave yourselves a way to take the water out when not in use
Allays have a 5 minute duplication cooldown.
Yeah thats only the pain but overall its super easy farm
I didn't even know they duplicated, I thought I was supposed to gather them around the world
The farm has to be surrounded by dirt btw
wow, he left out the most important info. what a shit tutorial. all my 24 allays flew away now
Sure?
Added some auto brewers to this and a magma block floor a few blocks lower and turned this into an auto slime farm with 0 player interaction needed
GREAT FARM TBH working so well
Wow easy but efficient farm
The allays dies why?
I tried this on my world (minecraft pe) and my all allay are dead after water log the slab😢
this is for java that’s why
@@gawdlycomp959 my bad😅
Can i use a slime potion on the silver fishes to get infinite slime w this design?
yesz i've done that before
how to check if there's 24 allays inside without commands?
i think they nerfed the potion
Edit: bro im so stupid i was in pacific, nice farm btw
Yeah gotta be in eastern
My silverfish stop spawning in bulk. Only 2 or 3 spawn now
my allays just drowned /:
I've tried it and it worked, but the rock underneath was destroyed for some reason and the allay came out
i just made this mistake. some stone blocks can be infected by silverfish and break. make it out of nonstone blocks
the allays got out of the slab, how to fix it?
remove the water source and slab then throw a block so the allays go back in it
why only 24 allays?
Because a single block can hold max 24 entities
@@EndlessGamerOfficial Wow so if the maxEntityCramming gamerule is set higher it might be a hell of an xp farm
@@AlexandreMalfreyt Yeah
My always just drowned😢
How do you stop the farm?
put lava in
@ lava where? That’ll kill the allays otherwise bro
@@moniquerobinson3133 my bad, i thought that was your intention. i had the problem of having 24 allays i didnt want to release into the wild.
Why my armor stand just disappear after few hits
cant have fire aspect 2
What is the logic behind this?
Does this work on bedrock xbox or am I wasting my time
By the looks of it, it abuses sweeping edge to hit the silverfish, and unfortunately sweeping edge isn't on bedrock so no, it doesnt.
@@NegativeNiko the amour stand enables sweeping dmg btw for bedrock.

What happens once all the 24 allays die or do they never get over ?
They have regeneration if they have an item in hand, so they regenerate faster than water can hurt them

Doesn’t work on bedrock, the allays regeneration rate is slower than java edition
why only 23?
Because there is a single block mob holding limit
