    I just discovered your channel and I’ve got to say, you really have some awesome content. I especially enjoy your videos of the Bombardier CRJ’s. I just love the sound of the engine buzzing, and the hydraulics. For some reason, it makes me like I’m flying in the aircraft.

    DEN: Such a beaitufil and efficient airport. It is also built in a huge property, so well planned in case this needs to grow n the future. Was there last month and it was a great experience. Great video as usual Cheers!

    Hey there. The ground around DEN is always that gold color. Is all that land agricultural fields of wheat or barley or something? It is always meticulously planted.

    • @sandyd4680
      @sandyd4680 2 года назад

      It is. Its all farmland, and on the offseason its generally stuff to feed the animals during winter, far as I understand.

    I'm personally not a fan of the CRJ 200s. I find them very cramped, even in the first row which supposedly has extra room. Thanks for sharing!

    Not bad. I had a hard time hearing the announcements during the flight, and I keep forgetting to ask if you could bring the phone toward the middle of the aisle where we can hear them better? I thought it was getting bumpy by the reduction of the airspeed at times. How rough was it? I couldn't even hear the pilot when he made an announcement at any time during the flight. Otherwise, great sound.

    Great fly! Earlier you said you're already booked for next year (2022), which cities/airports?

    • @sla31
      @sla31  2 года назад

      I've booked for January only of next year. And only January. I don't usually book flights more than 3 months out as schedule changes are certain to happen at that point. Also, if I told you everywhere I've booked flights in January, then there wouldn't be any incentive for people to become Patreons. That is the main perk of being a Patreon.

    Whatever the cost of your ticket,surely most of it went towards fuel! So much stopping on both ends,burning kerosene--what was the ground stop for at JLN? Did the pilot need more time for his checklist? Clearly Joplin is a growing metropolis,a new subdivision viewed as we began our takeoff climb. Guessing due to DEN's vast size,fast taxiing is permitted once off the runway. Very odd ramp movement--we taxi towards the Delta gates then make a 180 and stop,only to taxi past the international gates and stop again,presumably to let the rampers get their act together--the wingman definitely hasn't missed any meals! :)

    • @sla31
      @sla31  2 года назад

      I honestly don't know why we held for a few minutes on the taxiway at JLN. Probably just waiting for our IFR release. JLN doesn't have ground based radar, so aircraft departing JLN aren't picked up by Kansas City Center until they get to around 3,000 AGL. They may have had an inbound aircraft they were waiting on for spacing. They also could've just been waiting for their spot in line to get into DEN. Kansas City Center may have issued a specific wheels up time, and we might have gotten to the runway a bit early. And then, if remember correctly. Our gate was occupied when we arrived, so that's why we passed by. So we could go hold farther down the terminal where there weren't planes needing to push back, and then they decided to assign us a different gate, where an aircraft had just pushed, so that's why we kind of passed by, and then immediately went back.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  5 месяцев назад +1

      I believe some people who have indeed started airlines in the past, have outright said it was some of the worst decisions they have ever made haha. I know Richard Branson once said the secret to becoming a millionaire was to start with a billion dollars and start an airline.

      @@sla31 I think the CRJ 200 would be a better aircraft for smaller airlines since delta retired, getting used aircraft is useful to start airlines faster basally I actually was thinking of using the cry 200 for my airlines regional fleet that's the aircraft we will only use in the USA I was thinking of a Pride theme crj 200

    Joplin doesn't appear to have a very exciting appearance.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  Год назад

      Speaking as a Joplin area resident for over 25 years now, I think you'd actually be surprised once on the ground. Being on the edge of the Ozark's, it's not completely flat like many paces just west of the city, and being one of the larger cities on Route 66, it has a very pretty and historic downtown. Of course, I'm biased because I've lived here for so long, but it's hardly the most boring places I've ever visited haha. Thanks for watching my friend!
