- Hey guys, today we’re back at Six Flags Great Adventure with a bunch of friends to check out El Toro’s grand reopening after almost 10 months of being renovated. Special shout out to the parks marketing team as well as Colin and Phil from @ColiwoodStudios for inviting me along for the ride! And thank you all for watching and I’ll see you in the next one?

Welcome back the beloved ElToro
Your camera work is great. I loved the shots you got of El Toro. And you guys are so lucky to have been able to get on multiple times without having to deal with a 2 hour long line.
I’m going tomorrow 🤗 It’s been like 5 years since I’ve been to great adventure and I’m so ready!!!

You know what sucks about El toro? I went to Six Flags Great Adventure Father's day weekend. Kept following The status of El Toro. Went there Saturday and it was running. My friend and I couldn't ride it because the safety restraints wouldn't latch. I am a bigger person 6 foot two. I tried again on Sunday and same thing. Couldn't get the safety restraints to latch. Not to mention Kinda wasn't going. And also couldn't ride Batman for same reason. There's no reason they can't design something to accommodate bigger people. I drove over 500 miles. Bought season passes. Paid for a hotel for three nights. Plus the gas to get there and back home. Out of 14 coasters I could only ride like 6 of them. Pretty lame. What a fip off and a let down!😤😤😥😥
The restraints have to make it down passed a certain point on all major rollercoasters. The maximum difference between the seat and the restraint is determined by the manufacturer before the park even gets the ride. It’s not the parks fault you couldn’t fit. Also Kingda Ka snapped a launch cable and was required to pass a certain number of test cycles empty before the manufacturer or the state allowed them to reopen. Sorry you had a not so good experience but it seems like you may run into some of these issues no matter what park you visit.
Our Macho Nachos has never had burritos. But then, it has never had a sign saying so. We could do with some burritos.
How rough was it?
Just as rough as I remember!
