You experienced a lot, but each time you become more lonely, cause each time, each time when someone brings you back to life, one of your brothers disappears, if not more..
you bring up an amazing point. Guilliman should probably go out of his way to meet the dreadnaughts of the chapters. To bring a bit of spark back into their lives even for a tiny moment. It's been 10 thousand years. many have seen maybe have endured.
Yeah. I agree, but honestly, he’s so busy trying to manage the shit that is Imperial Bureaucracy that he doesn’t have the time, and honestly if given the chance I think he would. I mean, he of all people probably wants someone to reconcile with after all this time
@@Boat_guy28 it would be a grim parody of reality were it that he just hadn't thought of it yet, much like how a Father figure embroiled in his work of saving The Company could fail in his obligations to his sons. Ancient and honorable battle brothers whose heroism is legendary and deserves to be told. They are a truly an example of what a chapter of space marines should be, and though their bodies are broken and shattered by blade and weapon, they become one with their tomb and their spirit rise higher than ever before. These Marines are a truly show us what it means to serve the Imperium and Emperor will, and only in death does duty ends.
Amongst your many many great stories and descriptions, this stands out as one of the most poignant and dare I say beautiful pieces. And it’s from such a fascinating perspective, the witness that remains silent out of sorrow and and respect. And as to any dispute with GW, no one could be that crass, I hope, and if you were to be stilled, please, please let us, your loyal fans know. The howl of logic and disgust would leave them with no doubt that many tens of thousands of pounds would march straight out of the door. I for one. As a writer and performer I am a huge fan of your selfless talent. Good luck brother.
Thank you brother Day. A lot! I wasn’t up to form. So cut it short. Please don’t worry about this GW stuff. It’ll be fine. If it isn’t? It’s still ok. I’ll cover something else. And I am sure wh plus will be great. :)
That into inspired me to build a new DnD character: Warforged Jugg (ua) based off the premise of the intro. Fighter turned Machine, awakened long after his service to see that his old empire he served is either a ghost of its former self, or turned into something completely against what he fought for.
Thankyou so much for your Brilliant work, this spring my dad was diagnosed with cancer. I couldn’t take my mind off my troubles, but then I found your channel. This is incredible. The pain, anguish, and sorrow of this entombed marine is palpable in your telling. To be a space marine of the great crusade brought into the grim darkness of the 41st millennia must truly be a nightmare unlike almost anything else.
How to present a hobby, a pastime, a deeply entertaining pleasurable experience to a far wider audience from the heart. thank you uncle Baldy. You lead, like many a hero or an ork, from the front, where we can see and hear you, we follow with standards held high screaming behind you, guns blazing, wondering which audio rampart gets a battering next?
I know it obviously wasn't, but this video feels like it was practically made for my wife. She's been out of the hobby for a while, after the friend that originally introduced her to the setting sadly passed away, so she's forgotten quite a bit of the world and the lore. But one thing that has remained is her love for Contemptor Dreadnoughts, the Blood Angels (and their successors), and their glorious gene-sire Sanguinius. So, even though it wasn't intended, thank you for this wonderful tale, oh humble bard. I know she'll love it.
Wow.... That gave me goosebumps.. I never thought of the private hell that the Marines in dreadnoughts live. This is so sad. Wonderful job Baldermort. Thank you!
Man, the opening story of disillusioned ancient dreadnought was nothing short of amazing this time double thumbs up Baldemort! Very nice writing and narration there!
The first miniature that got me into me into the hobby..the unyielding ,the unbroken, the defiant old grandpa in a exoskeleton that spat into the face of the horrors of the warp!
Okay, yes, I'm getting one. Very much. And then sitting down and having long conversations of mutual understanding with it. This, again, was a goosebumps-inducing piece of narration.
Dammit Baldermort you made me tear up. Poor Sanguine Contemptor. Kinda silly that I find him so relatable, but then again I am from the USA. If anyplace feels like a once-great Imperium backsliding into corruption and decay this one does. Getting me sentimental here. I just want to give the great big cybergolem a hug.

I accept he has also had assistance from the Sanguinor however I cannot see Dante breaking. Still these Dreadnoughts are awesome and they fit the more regal heraldry of the Blood Angels very nicely. But the narrative around fighting for/against, this is quite a profound and thought provoking narrative :)
Story story, awesome chapter and a fantastic looking unit! You spoil us sir :)
Thanks brother Kermit. ;)
By Alpharius, Baldermort, you've outdone yourself! I always feel comforted by your warm, fatherly voice, but this time you almost made me cry. I was almost convinced to switch from Chaos when I listened to your opening monologue. I eagerly await your next audio-visual blessing. Ave ad Imperator!
Another amazing video, as usual:)
