Speaking French as a 3rd language I totally agree. I lived in Quebec for a couple of years and learned to speak French there. I now live in France and can't help but laugh whenever somebody swears in French. When a Quebecois is angry you know he/she's angry but when a French person is angry and swears it just doesn't make the same impression..."Merde, ça me fait chier" just doesn't live up to a good ol' "En osti calisse de tabarnak".

The first clip ... wow, truckers should be professional drivers... however, this one is not! The other driver is obviously an idiot but that doesn't mean you can risk their life/lives because of your ego. You are driving one of the most dangerous vehicles on the road so you need to be the most cautious too.

I love right near that round about. It’s huge and we have a law that if a semi is on a roundabout you can’t be in a lane beside them (which is why what is an extremely busy intersection looks so dead) so there would have been absolutely no excuse except his own stupidity.

#5 That was NOT a cut off, they probably got pulled over for speeding or some other reason.
Correct. Notice the distance off the front of the toyota, and then, the pickup truck a few seconds later. Same distance. A cutoff would have been if the cammer was closer to the pickup. Plenty of room to move over and that's a no harm no foul move right there as there was plenty of distance. (i.e., same distance to pickup later). The only trouble would be either the double lane change without much of a pause, or taking off after they got into the hammer lane.
I want to know what the cammer was on.... he seemed to get an extraordinary amount of pleasure from a simple traffic stop.
I had that impression too, it looked like a legit lane change. The distance seemed alright, it was telegraphed sufficiently early, the only thing I'd take issue to is that they crossed the second time a bit too early. They should've waited a few seconds, and preferably turned the blinkers off for a cycle or 2 before turning them on again. Let other drivers know that the blinker signal wasn't just a leftover from the previous crossing and another was incoming. Perhaps that was actually why they were pulled over if the cops considered the second lane change reckless.
Although the suv driver was wrong as well, in the first clip the semi tried to pit the suv. Then ran it off the road. Size matters lol.

@@johnt.848 No, the pathetic driver is definitely the "genius" behind the wheel of the truck. Take a look at 6.9. The Ford Focus is backing out into the opposite lane and would have maintained his lane 100%. Instead of shifting a little over to the right and continuing like a normal driver, the rageaholic truck driver decides to slam the brakes and veer leftwards towards him. It even looks like he crosses over to the other side of the line. Please explain that one to me.

I don't know crap about French or whatever language that was, but I'm pretty certain that red octagonal "Arret" sign means stop. I'm usually impressed by people trying to fight a higher weight class, but there's a point where it becomes stupid.

That nearly tipped load was terrifying. I was a passenger in a SUV next to a truck where sometging similar happened due to weird wind on a double on-ramp. Trucker didn't lose his load but it was a real brown pants day for all of us in the 4 wheeler. Nobody did anything wrong, it was just weird wind.

All he had to do was slow down to 100 for a minute or two, let the black SUV get a little distance, and speed back up later on. This is a fine example of two little guys with big egos. I agree the SUV is a goofball, a doofus, and even a blockhead for brake checking. But as the professional driver, the trucker should know how to let shit go. It's gonna happen. Scream at your dashboard, breathe, and move on.

Semis (or, formally, semi-trailer trucks) are called that because they pull semi-trailers.
Semi-trailers are trailers that don't have any wheels in the front.
At the back of a semi truck, there is a shorter, flatter section where the semi-trailer attaches. That also supports the front of the semi-trailer, so the semi-trailer doesn't need front wheels.
tl;dr: They're named after the trailers they pull.

Had a semi driver try to run me off the road because he was 2 feet off my bumper on the interstate and i flipped him off. Sad to see a professional driver completely ignore safe following distance and lose his shit endangering everyone around him.

Most commercial truck drivers in my experience are very good drivers. First off it takes a lot longer for a big truck to get up to speed and to slow down, so I have a lot of respect for them on the road. There have been a few exceptions.

You can put up the staggered stop lines, none of these idiots will follow. I work light rail and we have an intersection where the tracks turn left or right. The turn lanes next to the track with a sign that says "stop here" and "keep clear" on the pavement but never fails, a handful of clowns will pull up and get close to, and sometimes block, the tracks. People just dont have a clue or care.
That last one was definitely in Savannah GA, there's so many entitled drivers in that area.

I want to know what law books these people are reading? Smoking weed in a parked car in a parking lot is just as illegal as drinking alcohol in the same scenario. In must states when you sign for your driver's license you waive most if not all of your privacy rights when in your vehicle. Everyone seems to think that just because weed has become legal there are still laws that prohibit where you partake of said weed. 🙄

Not sure about West Virginia, but in many states cutting across (two quick lane changes without establishing yourself in your new lane) is considered a violation.
I have driven big rigs pulling cargo with single trailer to doubles through all 48 states border to border, container hauling, road construction, line hauling long haul and finishing full time in Alaska, I still hold a Class A license and have to say every time I moved a tractor truck and trailer I said a prayer to Almighty God to protect all drivers commercial and private to stay aware of all others .I believe I saved lives every day from engage key disengage brain idiots! I am 73 + young and in good health

agrees was thinking same thing -- the truck also merged at the same time im unsure what the issue was? did he merge over and was too close or soemthing?
Merged in between cars and immediately passed on left. It’s not as dangerous as going over two lanes but because the truck was already in the middle lane he was prohibited from merging into it until a large enough space between the truck and car was available.
I never understood why people mess with semis like they can end your life if they hit ya. But they are your best friend of you arevin trouble. I hade someone harrasing me and flashing me trying to ge me to pull over then out of what seemed like nowhere. Six semeies came out of the darkness and boxed this guy in and allowed me to drive on safely. The lead truck was a guy I helped get on the highway about a state earlier by getting out of his way. So it baffles me that people want to mess around and fine out against trucks. Just help em and they will help you.
