#9 3:43 Cammer's in an all-fired rush to get to the stop light and wait.
typical a-hole dash cammer...
Yep, cammers fault
#11 I get the Amazon van was in the wrong, but I don’t see the point in honking. You saw traffic on the other side had slowed to allow them to back out. Never hurts to be courteous.
Never hurts to abide by the laws and wait til the roads are clear to back out. Idk why people expect every one else to be courteous to ignorant drivers.
@@ItsmeBish584 if this was a perfect world, unfortunately there are blind turns from trees and parked cars. I've been in a similar situation, traffic on opposite side, mine moving freely, guy walks out into the middle of the road, but the stopped traffic was already stopped and blocking him from my line of sight. I'm going 40, locked by breaks up for at least 20-30 ft. Is it my fault for not using my x-ray vision? Or should I drop half my speed, expecting someone to jump out in front of me every 10 feet...

#9 and #11 sometimes you can be right and not be a child about it. Both could easily be seen well ahead of time and instead of just slowing down its keep speed then throw a tantrum. (#9 was coming up to a red light)
I generally think the driver on vid #9 is not only a big baby, but a terrible driver. Literally what you said, the person was far enough away to slow down and not make a scene. Just because they have a dashcam, it makes them feel entitled. It’s so pathetic
@@KmaasGamingyeah and he was coming up to a red light at like 45 mph. Maybe he wants to get whiplash at every intersection?

#6.5 is a shining example of the blind following the blind.
#9 needs to calm TF down
Wait why? What do you think cammer did wrong exactly? Should they have rear ended the idiot? Are you willfully blind to the fact that dude pulled out towing a trailer at low speeds with not enough space to do so in the first place. Traffic is moving at 40mph and this guy crawls out into the middle of the road. Cammer made the safest maneuver possible in this situation.

Depending on what state you're in, you're at fault for simply having it attached when not in use.
Good way to ruin your frame instead of just a bumper
@@SweetCandyDragon There was a farm field next to the road he could have turned into. He had bald front tires.
@@minecraftfox4384 I'm in a northern state. With all the SUV's and pickups everyone has one.
3:12 that Hyundai is such a bad design with turn signals low in rear bumpers and hard to see. How did they approve of that lol
They do that on some entry level SUVs to save money: NHTSA regulations don't allow most indicator lights to be located on a movable piece of bodywork like a trunk lid or SUV hatch. Many Audis get around this regulation by having duplicate indicator lights on both the hatch and the bumper. When the hatch opens, it switches to the bumper mounted lights.
@@pepstein Turn signals should be part of tail lights where they're easily visible from other vehicles.
Agreed
@@dr.jillalicecooper2587 I agree. Now that LED tail lights are relatively inexpensive, it’s possible to do the dual setup at a lower price point, as Tesla have done with their reengineered Model 3. The other approach is to stack the tail lights vertically, so they’re all easy to see and fixed in place. Honda and Volvo have both done this, but it’s not a style many brands would consider.
Terrible design. As I mentioned in another comment, I drive a 1 ton truck (think tall and wide). Those low turn lights can be almost impossible to see.
#14 5:44 it’s so funny when they think they won’t get caught but you have a dashcam to catch them 😂
For the 400th time, a person pulling out into a roadway is never scamming! They never have the right of way and would never win an insurance claim. They're automatically at fault.
I don't choose to live in a universe where I automatically think badly about others' motives.
If you live in a world where you expect everyone to want to scam you, you'll be unhappy and eventually you'll also be right. Is a lifetime of victimhood worth the once or twice you were right not to trust someone? I'd rather be hurt because I trust, and live in a nicer reality.
And I'm responding to the people who always scream "It's a scam" not your point, which is valid valid valid!
Though I did start watching dash cam videos once insurance tried to blame my husband for an accident where he was T-boned by someone turning left while hubby was going straight in the opposite direction.
They are not "automatically at fault". It depends on the exact specifics involved. Clip #9 is an example where the dash cammer would be at fault had an accident occurred because the driver had more than ample time to avoid any incidents. In fact, the dash cam video could be used to convict the driver of reckless driving.
@@LadyLithiasyou're so gloriously unaware and it shows. Insurance scams are extremely common and happen every day. Being aware of insurance scammers and expecting it could happen to you at anytime while driving does not mean you're living a lifetime of victimhood. Lol better to be safe than sorry, better to expect the unexpected. When it comes to driving you should not trust any driver on the road.. ever! You should have your head on a swivel and always drive as if everyone else on the road are idiots. It's called defensive driving. You can live in your fantasy land and trust everyone on the road if you want. I mean it's stupid but hey, do you.
@@aaronthomas6155 are you an insurance adjuster? I dont think you are because any insurance adjuster would tell you the cammer in #9 did nothing wrong and would not be found at fault. The guy who pulled out at a snail's pace in front of traffic would be found at fault. He crossed multiple lanes at a slow pace while traffic with the right of way was still moving at higher speeds. When you need to pull out in onto the road like this, you need to yield right of way to traffic already established in the lanes you want to be in and only move over when there is ample time and space to do so. That guy chose to use his size to bully his way in. Cammer was not reckless at all. He made the safest maneuver possible to avoid a collision.

So many people don't seem to understand that! If I'm next to a much taller vehicle I just let them keep slightly ahead of me since I can't see what's on the other side. If they go, I go, if they stop, I stop until I know it's clear. It's saved me once or twice.
So many people with tunnel vision.
3. I once had a 500+ lb. sliding glass patio door set take off up and out of the truck like a kite. Lucky it floated over sideways and crashed a field beside the road and no-one was hurt. That's just the person who can't control their temper acting out in a tantrum. Honk enough for them to know your displeasure. 4:52 I’m sure the Amazon driver was being precautious when backing up cammer. Quit honking cammer.
The Amazon driver couldn't see the cammer because of the tree. The truck driver was courteous and stopped to let the Amazon truck back out but Ms. I Can't Wait a F'n Second was inconvenienced so became exasperated and felt compelled to honk.
Blocking traffic to enter the road is called failure to yield. If the delivery driver was smart, he would back in when it was clear, or just park alongside the road and walk, so that he could easily re-enter the roadway.

I’ve watched many different dash cam videos but this one is my favourite 👍
This video proves New Jersey really does have the worst drivers.

All brake checks are unprovoked. You deliberately chose to brake check. There is no reason to brake check anyone other than to be an a-hole.
@@liltimshady i will agree that brake checks are always unprovoked. however, not everybody has the same patience as i do or a more even temperament. i don't brake check anybody. mostly because of injuries sustained from getting hit head-on by a drunk driver years ago. getting rear ended may just paralyze me from the neck down (neck injury). i use my turn signal to get them to back off. if they persist, i slow down to 10mph under the speed limit until i can pull over to let them pass.

Not every bad driver or decision is a 'scam'.
1:51 I like your brake pedal's sound effect.

9. The suv pulling that trailer should have showed more caution pulling out, but the same time the cammer needs to learn better defensive driving. 3:59 Tailgate much? A slow driver does not give you the right to tailgate.
I wonder if they showed down because they were being tailgated.
Most of these cameras show the drivers aggressively driving into road conflicts. simply staying out of blind spots and anticipating bad driving would solve 90 percent of these.

#10 brake checking is dumb and dangerous, no doubt. But so is tailgating for miles just because somebody was going a bit slow for your preference.
Definitely following too closely.
I notice a lot of the cammers who lament have plenty of time to react to someone changing lanes or pulling out in front of them, they just feel dissed and need to study up on defensive driving, everyone needs to slow down and quit being in such a hurry
#9 is an entitled driver.
The vehicle/trailer was already clearly moving towards that lane well before you approached.
#12 5:09 It's time for another exciting round of "Guess Who's Looking at Their Phone Instead of the Road"!
People who blame their blind spot instead of their bad driving….. lol
It's getting to the point where I'm starting to be afraid to drive these days, because we seem to have more and more idiot drivers that got their license from a cereal box.
Cammer at 4:46 is being a real dick. Amazon driver is backing out of a very difficult spot and the other vehicle has already stopped to allow him to finish getting out. Is it that hard for the cammer to do the same?
Doing deliveries doesn't give anyone carte blanche to block and illegally impede both directions of traffic. The work van needs to yield just like everyone else. It's also misplaced courtesy when someone _lets a vehicle in,_ which blocks opposing traffic. You can only account for your own willingness to give up your right-of-way, not everyone else's.
Better yet, if the delivery driver was smart, he would back in when it was clear, or just park alongside the road and walk, so that he could easily re-enter the roadway.
