Yeah Grimlock should be reissued soon, so don’t pay a crazy scalper price for him bro. I’ve learned patience for these figures, they always reissue them.
Now that we've gotten all the Dinobots from the G1 cartoon. I wonder if we'll get G1 styled versions of any other Dinobots that were introduced later to the team, like Scorn for example.
5:02 I just realised Swoop comes with Grimlock’s sword. But if you put the swords on Swoop in dinosaur mode, the handles look like gun nozzles on the G1 toy.
Wheeljack & ratcchet would have been proud of grimlock. For creating the technobots. Funny grimlock created the technobots, Starscream combaticons. Megatron created the stunticons all by himself. I did get the g2 grimlock on clearance at wal- mart for $30. Skipped on Shattered glass. Well I think it was worth the wait. For the dinobots to get their own molds. No retools like in power of the primes. Slag & sludge were retooled from each other.back half did not fit sludge. it did for slag. both back halves were the same on both of the,. this way they got their own molds. Took like 3-4 years. I remember when the transformer club did that combiner repaint of energon.1 member per year. Took 5 years for a combiner.
I got him friday this is fucking awesome! the 5 dinobots are awesome together! Now it would be a great treat to get a voyager class version of POTP Slash.
I know this is kinda late to the party and all. But I don’t remember the Dinobots ever using swords other than Snarl. And before anyone else wants to chime in, I’m talking about G1 only. Also side note the 3 swords comic Grimlock comes with are his comic sword, Slag’s and Sludge’s.
I'd scratch the singing dreams and stick with the Trump impressions. But to the figure. Mine is in my pile of loot at bbts, just arrived. Super excited
Extremely cool!! The completed Dinobot team!! They look totally cool together, been dreaming of owning them myself, I do have the Power of the Primes versions at least, which also look great, but their size is off as Deluxe and Voyager classes. Anyway, thank you so much for the review, Paul !
They need to sell these as a 5 pack, so I can add them to my collection(Preferably with the chrome colors). Otherwise I might just chase down a KO G1 set off the web.
not sure how else they would have done it, but seeing how it tucks into the main torso while the upper beak hangs down it makes sense from a figure standpoint, but yeah it is a bit odd

Always said these Dinobots were like mini Masterpieces. I’m also glad they did not do the Combiner gimmick with them.

I really like Swoop, but I would rather them have made the arms peg to the body than the wings. Also, his chest should have locked in robot mode.
Swoop was smaller as in bulk, but not hight

Swoop, G1 and other series, seemed he was the easiest to transform and should not be as big as a T-Rex or stegosaurus.
in canon he hates his dino mode and thats why he stayed in bot mode.
