2018 Oscar Reviews:
• 2018 Best Picture Nomi...
I’m thoroughly upset there are not more of there videos
Really loving these oscars analysis videos, you make a ton of good points and are obviously very invested in the industry and the art of filmmaking. Keep it up!
Brad Pitt managed to make Tyler Durden seem like a good guy so much that it kinda ruined the movie. It's hard to dislike Cliff Booth.
Yes I feel like I haven’t seen one of your uploads in years and I love ur channel
I'm making a concerted effort to do more than just these Oscar reviews this year. Stay tuned.
@@MoviesILoveandsocanyou You still sure about that?
Highly recommend these for some very clever yet perfectly unpretentious/accessible film criticism. So good for finding new films to watch (all the ones in this series are so well chosen imo). these videos are so good - thanks so much for making them.
Great critique as always. Keep up the great work!
Really cool channel, got lots of movies to watch now haha
Awesome review!
Great video
Great channel dude
I also loved all the little nods to other Tarantino films throughout OUATIH.
man I fucking love your channel. I don't know how you don't have a million subs already
it seems this is gonna be your last video for a while )-: man im gonna miss them!! take care though!! i hope you have a great year!
Will you be reviewing the rest of the best picture movies?
What’s the song by Camille Saint-Saëns do you use for your intro and conclusion?
Fossils, from his Carnival of the Animals suite
good one
What a great insight, I must say! Keep creating and educating. I myself make videos breaking down and analysing movies and their pertaining misè-en-scene. I recently made a video on 1917, on how it's not a long take and consequently what makes a "Long Take" a "Long Take" in a profilmic discussion. Would love to collaborate with your channel! :)
"A hangout movie." Did you hear that from The Official Podcast? I know I did.
It'sa term that was actually made popular by Tarantino himself while doing press for Jackie Brown in 1997. He called Jackie Brown a typical hangout movie, while also naming Richard Linklater's Dazed & Confused his favorite hangout movie.
i dislike the fact there was as much violence as there was. See it was not a typical tarantino movie. And the ending went overboard. I liked the Brat Pit violence but the whole Flamethrower stuff was tacked on. Even early on it felt like "look Im tarantino" and he put it there just so he can burn the hippie at the end. Even Ricks comments at the end is almost 4th wall breaking and silly, took me completely out of the moment...
I didn't know Sharon Tate, didn't work for me I guess.
Best movie ever!
Boy why you so buff
It's been 8 months 🤷 What gives?
