i agree with you in the fact that the v10's were amazing, but to say perfect is a bit of a stretch since every year the cars keep breaking track records. the v10 powered cars couldn't beat the current cars racing today
As a F1 fan I can only say: In a F1 car I'd feel comfortable... but on a bike or boat at these speeds... respect. F1 might kick ass... but all these are epic in their own way. Respect for all.

at start,f1 car have a considerable distance difference,but in the end,the bike is nearly at the back of the car. from my point of view,bike is quicker overall.
What the fuck are you on about? F1 cars pisses all over superbikes, the bike was never coming back! Go look at Monza where bikes barely reach 320kph whilst cars reaches over 360kph. Oh yeah in 1/4 mile V10 F1 cars can trap 190mph, these bikes care barely do 155mph.
Acceleration wise the bike has too short of a base, at high speed it's not streamlined enough to compete with the F1 car. Around 200mph the drag o the bike is humongous. The bike might have an advantage on very sloped, slow, narrow and winding roads. If it were me, I would choose the boat and go fishing, let the other hotheads race.
TheChamp 101 Bike acceleration is typically superior to that of a car. This is an F1, different story. Cornering for bikes is a disadvantage due to lower surface area to the track.

Very true.... But the pleasure of driving /riding has nothing to do with 0-60 times and top speeds unless you just like riding in a straight line which anyone can do. You can have as much fun at 60mph as you can at 150mph. You obviously love two wheels ..but not everyone does. 180mph bikes...been there done that got the t-shirt....Four wheels till i die!!!

I'm taking the boat... A little slower, but I'm still cruising at well over 100mph while throwing back a cocktail, burning a fattty, and having some chick bobble me knobble... That and my cr250 only does about 75-80mph, but it's way more of a kick ass ride than any street machine will EVER be! ! !

actually, bmw engines from the mid to late eighties were much more powerful than the v10's. 1.5l turbo charged engines were producing 1500hp while the v10's made around 950-1000. and those bmw engines pushed an amazing 6 bars of pressure (about 73lbs of boost) cheers!!

A gp bike do better surely, but can't fight against a F1 in the straight as in a track. A F1 is not simply a race care as a gp bike. A F1 is build for to be the best the best performance. Just a drugster try easy to beat a F1, but only about the brutal acceleration. In a track not one car have a chance against a F1. 5 G in the breaking, and 4,5 in the corners are umbeattable, with 950 cv and just 600 kg (till the 2004).

Precisa de mais alguma prova de que carro é mais rápido? É que moto é mais ágil no trânsito devido ao tamanho. Mas pega uma moto de competição e um carro e ver quem ganha. O número de mortes nessas competições de moto são bem menores no que as de carro. Justamente por causa da velocidade.
I would have to disagree. the turbo engines had over 500hp more than the v10's. and the weight has been constant for awhile at 640kg. no doubt that the v10 cars would easily beat the turbo cars around the track, but only because of 25 years more of technology in brakes and aerodynamics. cheers!!
So really faster is a relative term. On a 0-100 time that bugatti does it in 2.5 seconds on pavement, there are old Lancia cars that can do the same 0-100 on gravel. So on a straight line the bugatti will beat the zonda R but on a heavy cornered track it would fail badly. And on any race track excluding the oval and straight ones the formula 1 car would win. The power to weight ratio in a formula is way higher compared to the buggati. And because of the low weight formula can brake much later.

He does point out a critical problem with super bikes... wheelies... you don't want them, at all. You want all tires on the ground. I never want to do a wheelie. A bicycle, sure; a 500 pound bike that can easily kill me, no way.
No amount of arguing over what could potentially out-perform the other in certain conditions gets away from the fact that they used a superbike and not a moto gp machine. F1's are truly brutal... just incredibly boring as a sport compared to bike racing.
i've not mentioned engines power...i've spoken about speed on lap. I know that turbo F1 engines were very powerful, but how much of that power was really discharged on the asphalt? The V10 engines was technically perfect, the aerodinamics was perfect, tyres were perfect, electornical systems too. The result was that the races were boring. But in pure speed on track, i think that nothingcan be compared to the V10 formula1.
F1 cars are so awesome, if i ever hit the jackpot im deffinitely buying one.

The bike is only a stock 600cc model. F1 car should win, but it would have been closer with a 1000cc bike and an extended swingarm.

nice race , at the end anyone can drive a bike in the highway and feel the speed ...not the same with the f1 is only a privilige for a few in earth
i think this speaks for the bike that a street going sports bike is so close to a F1 car. motorGP bikes have up to 2 x the power of these.

The bike is about 15k, the car is about 2.5 million. Kind of a no brainer. Bikes can also pop wheelies, so there's that.
