Today marks 11 years since I saw Molly Nilson in Cheb in the Czech Republic. I remember being heartbroken after a breakup. I was home on vacation with nothing to do, trying to escape myself and not think. I found out Molly would be there about one day before the show and this song was the first I heard from her, and I fell completely for the magic and beauty that Molly creates. The concert was beautiful, but there were few people, maybe 20. I was in absolute beauty and she played this song last. Afterwards, while waiting for the train, a stranger told me: 'Don't be sad.' Today, when I remember all this, I see that it was all love.
damn, I discovered her in 2010 and still one of my favorite singers cause she so sincere upd: ha it's funny cause i actually remember that day it was 10th of july 2010 and i got a new haircut that day, and all my friends was in another city so i felt lonely, and my playlist consist that day of Molly, Depeche Mode, Placebo and Knife
lol just discovered molly and decided to listen to her first song here, this is weird but as this song progressed, I was singing along and already knew the lyrics 0_0 in fact i was listening to this in my 9th grade when I was graduating from secondary school (I'm from Russia, we study in schools for 11 years). It's been added on my VK (russian analogue of Facebook with pirate music), this song is a pleasant surprise actually It took me 7 years to explore her whole discography hehe
its been 11 years since this video was released i wonder how the people featured here are doing now. surely they must had been in their 20s when this video was made. theyre probably all married with kids now lol
i have listened to the distant bus and wayward plastic trees a lot and .. I must say Molly is in a league of her own. Susan anaway is a great singer but it is different to me
