Mr Margouleff, wow- I wasn’t expecting your name to pop up in the comments, a lovely surprise. I have mentioned about yourself and Cecil on numerous occasions with regards to Stevie and also Modular Synthesis. I spotted the Moog in the background, was that you placing Stevie’s hand in the correct spot on the mixer? This a brilliant recording of Stevie and WonderLove.
Total and utter respect to you dear Sir.

How does anyone write something as astonishing as this at the age of 23?!?! Phenomenal! His ability as a performer remains undimmed too. For me, he blew away everyone else in the concert for the Queen's Jubilee celebrations in 2012. I don't think it's hyperbole to say that Stevie is one of the greatest musicians of the twentieth century.

Stevie is the most gifted individual in the past two centuries. He's the Martin Luther King of music, he's the Julius Erving of music, he's the King David of Song, he is the masterpiece of Picasso musically, and the artistic genious of Devinchi, the Einstein of sound, the Pavarotti of Opera, and brother of the Jesus Christ. As a young man, Stevie helped me to see, and to helped me know the love of Christ- through his mission, life and music. Thank you Stevie. thank you very much.

Lol If you were black in that time... you surely knew your were black even if you were blind, because everyone else would let you know. besides Stevie mention race often in his music and it was not easy for his family growing up in detroit as a black child.

You just don't know how important this video is. I am so glad you posted it. This is a master class i will use to teach how it is done. From the vocal shaking to the hee hee hee which everyone on the planet would swear Michael Jackson invented, not. You are watching the inventor of all things male vocals, singing and delivery. As well as playing while singing, producing his ass off coming up with stuff on the fly. Everyone who sang or played with him or copied his style became successful. The drummer Ollie Brown. Denice Wiliams, singer. Ray Parker Jr on guitar. As Stevie mentioned writing; he encourraged everyone to write because he knew that was how you got paid. Look at Michael Jackson who also learned from Stevie. Look at Prince who has done his share of Stevie mancing, the song Vickie Waiting from the Batman soundtrack. From the singing to the production, that was Stevie love all day.

There was a short lived NBC show (13 episodes) called "Flipside" which brought cameras in the studio for interviews and performance footage. It didn't last long because studio execs wanted Sinatra and Streisand in the studio. The creator of the show was Bill Aucoin, who would go on to manage KISS around this time. This idiot, edwart motown Record exec was the real reason the Jackson 5 left motown. Berry was off trying to be the next Spielberg making movies. Stevie looks a bit annoyed at him always talking about himself. Hahaha. But you the man for uploading this gem. Right before that accident that left him inna coma. Hes been touched by God for sure
