I've been working on running my own HEMA club in the U.S.A., and would love to discuss some things with you about that. I've been having a hard time finding some pieces of equipment, finding good sources for my own studies, and teaching certain subjects in class.
No. We have experemented with it at times in the past but we generally work from later sources anyway, and it also isn't all that fun. We stick to unarmoured fighting or occasionally partially armoured as was often the case in the 16th and 17thc.
