I am a doctor, and let me tell you, dr.sharon has shown one of the most emotionally well behaved parents... which happens like less than 5%. The parents/even children of old parents will literally get restless. Even before we doctors can come out of the sadness of not able to save the life, we have prepare ourselves to handle the family. Some family will not accept or understand that their loved one has left and will beg to retry or redk evrything forgetting that doctors are also humans... but in oir minds it will be "I wish I can bring him/her back to life. Really sorry ma/pa"... but will mostly walkaway speechless. Because every death in the hands of a doctor is also a mental trauma for them. This covid has left so many doctors have sleepless nights loosing young patients, the sight of the helpless families. A big virtual hug to dr. Sharon 🤗
"Vasudevai kutumkam" that means the world is our family...I think doctors justify the statement because they treat every of their patient as their love one...I think the profession is something like that...may God give you infinite beautiful moments . Also may God bless my all the doctors with a beautiful life , after all they are someone's light....
When she said "He died" that sent shivers down my spine, imagine being told that that's someone you loved all your life. Even the doctors, were their priority and they feel so guilty.
that’s probably the worst part about being a doctor but you still save lives! and i’m sorry for everyone that has lost someone close i can pray for everyone
Respect to all doctors and medical staffs who suffered a lot for patients and their families.......... Thank you for your time , love and patience........ 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for the service that many selfless doctors provide with empathy towards their patients & families. Sadly we also encounter many emotionless, uncaring , greedy doctors who have long forgotten their Hippocrates Oath.
Yes its true.. its hard to be a doctor and a nurse and other more roles in the hospital.. so this is why we need to appreciate them bcuz they help us when were sick and provide and give us the medication we need.
My father was admitted for a really long long time at KIMS Secunderabad. He had a great rapport with the treating doctors especially with the gastroenterologist. Days after my father's demise I went to see the doctor to thank him for all that he had done. The doctor was in tears.
I believe you, doctor. I am a retired nurse. I believe God is always in control of our lives. I worked in hospitals called teaching hospitals where doctors are trained . Although small hospitals God have trained them and as I heard all passed their medical exams and they are doctors. They are very busy.
As being in other profession than doctor i can't even think how difficult it is for doctors to tell the patient's family about death because in India many people treat doctors as god and expect them to save their loved ones however it is not always possible for doctors also to save every patient they treat and we should understand that and not blame or mistreat doctors . Huge respect 🙌❤
Everyone says doctor is like god, but the reality is that we are humans. We also have feelings, we also can cry, we also can feel the pain, we also get affected by critical situations.

It's true. You'll suffer from great shock which lasts so many day in ur initial OT days duty. So it's true that We doctors are and need to be mentally strong very much.

Sharon has painted a very rosy picture. When my father passed away, (non covid case) the doctor who declared him or the team that worked on him did not even have decency to talk to us and explain things to us. They just vanished from the scene. When I enquired around all I got was "your father's body will be in freezer, you can collect it tomorrow".
