You're both so handsome, as always. Love the beret, Satoshi! Each minute with the two of you is like being with friends on a happy day off work. Thank you for the warmth, the information, and the sights and sounds (plus, your descriptions allow me to almost taste the snacks).
I must try that salted cheese oolong tea. Happy Lemon must be near the Hilton Tokyo shuttle stop. I must've walked past it numerous times without noticing it. Will be there in fall and I won't miss it this time!
I bought chestnuts like that while I was in Kyoto! Those were sooo good 😋 Here in Spain roasted chestnuts are a common winter treat you can buy in the street to warm you when it's cold, I love them ♥️
I always have to stop by Bear’s Sugar Shack when I’m in Shinjuku! I love that they make it from scratch, their shop is adorable, and the pairing of real Canadian maple syrup and their buttery mini pancakes is just fantastic. Also I just tried the salty cheese oolong tea from HeyTea in Singapore, and I was actually blown away! HeyTea is apparently the original creator of Cheese Tea, they started in China in Guangdong, and Singapore is its first overseas outlet, and according to people who’ve tried HeyTea vs other brands, HeyTea uses real cream cheese and milk to create the foam, while other brands often use milk/cheese powder! So I can’t say how good it compares since it’s the only place I’ve tried that specialises in cheese tea, but if you’re ever in Singapore (or if anyone reading this is) definitely try it out! :) Their only shop is in the basement floor of Ion mall in Orchard Road, so pretty easy to find! They specialise in premium teas in general, and everything is made fresh. Their berry and strawberry blended cheese teas looked super popular, and next on my “to drink” list! Also I’m craving takoyaki so much right now! :(
Hi Shinichi and Satoshi! This is so much fun to watch...so many interesting street foods in Shinjuku! I wish I could visit that shop with the delicious dango. I've never seen dango like those! I'd especially love to try the ichigo an version. It looks so amazing! The takayuki at the end of the video looked so good, too. Thanks for the great video!
Oh my gosh brothers! The salted cheese oolong tea looked so delicious, as did both breads. My okasama loved Kintoki mame coated with sugar. She used to snack on it all the time. I miss sharing mame with my mama. ☺️ Okay boys, the takoyaki with the dipping sauce.....I would be that person taking a bite of takoyaki, then sipping-yes I said “sipping” the sauce. 😋. Thank you for sharing Shinjuku and all 6 of your amazing favorite snacks with us! Seriously, every single thing you ate looked so delicious!! It’s because of you boys, that I’m so excited to visit Japan again, one day soon..... ♥️ So cannot wait for future videos!!
I LOVE this kind of video! Please part II, III, IV... Everything looks so good! I had never seen takoyaki like that before. Really interesting! Thanks for all your hard work guys! Love you both very much ❤️
Love this type of video, it's really helpful for planning a trip to Japan! More please! Also I'd love to see the list of these places mentioned in the description below the video. That would be super super helpful!
Though I’ve been to Japan twice this year your videos give me so much insight to the belly of Japan. Your style, in depth reporting, variety and locales make for a wonderful and informative program. I’ve seen several of your casts and look forward to many more. From America, a bit thank you!
I want to come to Japan in two years. Fly into Tokyo and take a cruise around Japan. That would be so fun. What I'm planning on doing! Studying your videos so I know what I want to try when I'm there.
i absolutely love your content can we have more vegan recipes? i did the vegan gyozas for my new year dinner and everybody love them. Super hellos from México
I JUST LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU GUYS! I smiled during this entire walking/snack tour. "It's located under the Godzilla" LOL. And ANY recommendation by Shinichi's mom, I will take!! And those chestnuts at the end WOW! I love chestnuts....
We have happy lemon in the bay area, and love salty cheese. It has a lid where you hold it at a 45degrees and it gives you both the tea and the cream cheese topping without having to stir it together or using a straw. Its so yummy!
I love that you guys went to pretty much every place in Shinjuku that I love! I used to live there (now Yokohama) and I miss it!!! But it is so different these days. When I lived there fifteen years ago, Kabukicho was still really dirty and a very creepy area and you had to be really careful where you went. I used to see yakuza there quite a bit.
We wanted to try Happy Lemon in December but there was always a long line, so didn't get to try anything. And you had me at the Takoyaki - my mouth was watering!! Thank you for these shorter vids when you are walking around snacking or just showing the sights. Love them!! The two of you do a great job with these pieces!! Thank you!
Okay fellas, another great food video. Shinjuku really does have some great places to eat a snack or a meal. The hashed potato croissant looked sooooo good. I would love to try that one. Hot cakes with custard cream and apple compote sounds heavenly. Well I love anko and strawberries are my favorite fruit so that particular dongo sounds slammin', but the shichimi one sounded super good also. Which one should I choose? As for the squid balls, AKA takoyaki, you can have mine. Well maybe I would try it. Gotta have an opened mind, right? Except where Natto is concerned.🤣 Thanks for sharing, brothers.
Great video. Those strawberries looked yummy. I was at a writers' workshop today and they provided refreshments, including a dish full of big, sweet strawberries, which we all fought over because they were so good 😋
Hi Shinichi and Satoshi. Do you guys mind doing an episode on horse meat sashimi in Izakayas at Shinjuku? We went to one fantastic one and it's at Mikoto Shinjuku. Love the GM too. They've got tons of Shochu there with a lovely bar. Will love to watch that. 😁🤗
The snacks look delicious. I would definitely enjoy watching more of these types of videos in future. One thing I've always admired about the Japanese work ethic is the level of attention to detail. Would it be possible to see videos on local food producers or artisans of their crafts? I like to know where food comes from and maybe it could be interesting to others to learn about the people behind the food carts, cafes and restaurants who serve such wonderful food. Or maybe that's just me. Anyway, thank you for the video!
Millennial Travel Confessions no no no of course we did, like three times lol just not this dipping kind! It looks sooo good! Have you had this dipping one? I had the chestnuts too, again not those big ones though :)
Oolong cheese??!! Interesting! I swear Japan has the best food I've ever tasted. Here in Australia it's very sad :( Satoshi loves sakuto food! So cute 😍
Thank you for the walk around Shinjuku, we can't wait to visit in less than two months!! We will be finishing off our holiday in Shinjuku at Citadines Hotel with Godzilla above our heads! I have a feeling i will be eating takoyaki every day and sample all the different flavours before we leave Japan as it is right next door to the hotel!😆 your videos are so helpful, enjoyable to watch and show us a little snippit of life in Tokyo, thank you Tabieats! Arigato Goziamus! 🗻
All this looks so good! I cant wait to go back to Japan! Also... Justin and I have been desperately trying to perfect a Yoshinoya Gyudon recipe but we cant seem to get it right! We've tried so many different ways. I looked thru the videos and didn't see one or maybe I missed it. Would you two make a video to show us your take on a Yoshinoya Gyudon, please? Much love to you two! ^-^
@@TabiEats I searched on my phone and found it! I think maybe it was because I was searching on my Switch youtube app, not sure lol Thank you! We will definitely try it! :D
I saw 'Shinjuku' and 'takyoki' and immediately thought of Gindaco. XD I didn't get the chance to eat at the one there, but I did hit up the location in DiverCity last August. I got the cheese mentaiko takoyaki; so tasty! And I believe Hokuo breads are served in the Foresty Coffee locations found along the Odakyu line. I remember the bags being used there having the Hokuo logo on them. Really good melon pan and curry pan there.
Hey guys! Glad you guys are enjoying today’s video! If you want to see more like this one, please leave us your comments telling us so.
i THINK i saw one of you- the one with the hat on (sorry i don't know how to spell yr name) walking in Akhihabara with 2 phones.. is that possible??
More of EVERYTHING, please! Everything you do is such fun!
You could always buy your mom one of those treats. Unless she lives a bit far away.
Just added a bunch of stops to my Google for our next trip!
Love your channel. Please do an episode on monjayaki. Thanks.!!!!
You're both so handsome, as always. Love the beret, Satoshi! Each minute with the two of you is like being with friends on a happy day off work. Thank you for the warmth, the information, and the sights and sounds (plus, your descriptions allow me to almost taste the snacks).
I don't think that's a beret, though. I think it's a flat cap
@@Hugin-N-Munin Hahaha! You're absolutely right! I was typing watching the video at 10:40 . He apparently turned the cap around by that point. ツ
Clicked IMMEDIATELY! Please do more of these videos!! Love when you guys show us around Japan!! ❤️❤️❤️
They already live in Japan they do not need to go to Japan my friend
I love the way Satoshi sounds! I can clearly understand him along with his husky Japanese accent.
Satoshi's pronunciation of croissant haha 👍 pretty good!
Satoshi’s excitement is so cute 🤗
You guys are so stinking cute! I can’t with you two sometimes. ♥️
ヘルシーとか気にせず欲望のまま正直に美味しいもの紹介する様子がとても好感持てます🎵
二人の紹介もお願いいたします
I must try that salted cheese oolong tea. Happy Lemon must be near the Hilton Tokyo shuttle stop. I must've walked past it numerous times without noticing it. Will be there in fall and I won't miss it this time!
Yep that’s the one. It should still be here. I hope!
You guys are THE best !!!!! The reviews you give are amazing!!! I can literally taste each item!!!! More, more more please !!!
Satoshi saying "flavourful" at 1:06 makes me really want to try the drink
Love that bakery at the start soft bread with chestnut and bean!!!! ♥️😧
And the dungo place too!!!!

I live here now, in Satoshi-san and Shinichi's Japanese world at TabiEats. Thank you both for the many happy riches/rich happiness!
That Oolong tea / Salted cheese drink sounds intriguing.

this bakery is a must, tried it last summer and it was amazing.
Oh, my gosh. Everything looks so good! I want to try everything, especially the dango. Thank you for taking us along with you.
My mother used to sell roasted chestnuts on christmas markets so I always got to eat as many as I wanted. It was heaven
More videos like this please.❤
Hope you make more videos like this as I explored the South side of Shinjuku station back in Nov and remember some of these places.

On Wednesday night I'll be in Shinjuku and I can't wait!!! All the food 🤤🤤🤤

Can't wait for more!!!!
This video is perfect because I always stay in the hotel in southern Terrance in Shinjuku! Thank you for this video 🙂😊
Tacoyaki is my all time favorite!!!
We have those mini pancakes here in the Netherlands as well. We call them poffertjes. We eat them with a bit of butter and powered sugar mnomnomnomnom

I love love love Satoshi. You are just perfect 👌
