@DUKE_of_RAMBLE only sponsorships he had was when companies sends him their product to review, not really to advertise, they only do it if they're really proud of their product and of they know it'll get positive feedbacks and the Patreon sponsored all of his videos to keep the midroll ads out and so he could waste money on sd cards and ExpressVPN sponsored his 2020 iPod Touch Video once and he made the entire video about privacy which I didn't mind, at least the sponsor message was at the end of the video. and I'm pretty sure that was before the aftershow started but I could be wrong

Truly crazy to think about the aftershow being done. I can still remember when he introduced it and thankfully I was able to donate a dollar for him to enjoy as I watched over 50 of the after shows that I've missed out on. Now it is sadly an end of an era.

Well now I'm sad. I actually wanted to pitch in, even call it a new year's resolution. I haven't ever used patreon and while I've been following DankPods for a while, it was only rather recently when I started to truly appreciate the guy, his hard work and how consistent he is in entertaining us all - and all that without crappy sponsorships, bogus reviews or other forms of blatant selling out. And of course big part of it was patreon and I wanted to become a part of it too, guy deserves every penny for all he has done for us over the years. I can only hope whatever you got in store now doesn't kill that style. You're among the very, VERY few REAL ones here on this stinky platform. Rock on, mate.
I know struggling to come up with main channel videos was probably hard but being able to just drop a ton a metric ton of extra videos after a while seems like the right way to go about that. then there's an exclusivity to Patreon and after a year or so the unwashed masses can catch up.
