Great Summary Jonathan! I haven’t hit that lower Kandagnar yet, it looks a bit above my comfort zone. The upper part was rowdy enough. There are some chunky trails in my new neighborhood, hit me up if you need a tour of Littleton/Bethlehem/Franconia/Easton.
It’s normal to be nervous about camping out in the woods alone at first, you’re not alone in that. And you’re right, you can do it just like so many nervous campers before you did :P
@@Projectnortheast I think your video autoplayed while i was commenting on another video. Sorry, delete if you can. I tried, your response seems to have locked me out from deleting..
Ya its a massive climb. That's why starting at the water tower will give more bang for your buck if your only able to do a lap or 2 as you'll be able to climb up and then do a short climb with a long flowy dh all the way back to cranmore
Thanks! I put links in the description to the other trail videos I've done in the area. Mostly of the hurricane zone but I have one from the ledges zone. I have a video coming out soon of rate quarry zone as well.
@@geraldsmith2962 mtb’ers from every state should see what great NH has to offer. He’s just bitter IMO. As a car enthusiast I’d hate to see it get like the Kanc - but be honest, it’s been that way for a long time.
I dont usually save to trailforks but I lay everything out pretty well in the video that if you have trailsforks you should be able to navigate this rought pretty easily with the app
Jonathan! I love the content man! Can't wait to get out there and ride once I've got a bike 😅 I wanted to ask, how can I contact you?? I've got some questions about trail building I'd love to ask you! Cheers!
I mean, I shuttle whenever I can lol... mostly cuz I like to get alot of laps in and do big rides. But I also enjoy the long grinding climbs which are few and far between in these parts...
If you can ride odb odc you could ride rude awakening.... jbar is slightly harder but is always wet which makes it difficult in spots. And freeride is steep...
I don't really see why not no one is saying we can't I just think the aim was to get people to park at cranmore and relieve congestion on the water tower side and on Hurricane rd
There aren't any. Literally zero. I've been fighting for 10 years and pushing constantly but nothing has been done. There is one being built in Franklin right now but it's not exactly SNH.
@@willkence7745 veterans memorial is where it's being built. Should be done middle of September I'm guessing. I'll be doing a preview of it I'm sure as a good buddy is heading up the project
Yeah lots of people climb the road. I'm not sure why one would choose that now though considering the climbing and route options available... I'd rather climb on dirt in the woods than asphalt with cars buzzing by.
As someone who's been lost at Hurricane, this is very handy!
Ya its easy to blow a whole day if you don't know where your going lol hopefully this vid helps people make the best of their time!

Thanks Chris! I've ridden all of bethlehem but ya I could use a good tour of the other areas for sure!
the stream gap is gnarly. Cant tell in this video but its got to be a 25-30 foot gap and sniper landing. great riding
Thanks! Yeah it's prolly 20' if I had to guess... Definitely don't wanna come up short lol
Great video. Answers all my questions.
Great video! I don't know how you're able to talk and ride so well!
It's a gift! 😅 actually just 25 years of riding...

Good video. Been once and I parked at the watertower and took the road climb up, pretty brutal I was only able to get one downhill run in

Rad video bro! Always at some awesome
Spots!
I mean... why ride it if it's not awesome? 😁
Hope you do a video on each zone! I plan on riding up there a lot this summer and would like to know what’s out there.
Your in luck, as my next video will be about the Redstone Quarry zone!
@@Projectnortheast yea why don’t you give away all the secret river spots too! Make sure the tourists know exactly where every thing is… smh
@@earlsupperlip thanks for your input my friend!
@@earlsupperlip Sounds like you don’t know about Trailforks. You should make these comments on there too. People need to hear what you have to say.

good stuff thanks man
Do you have a Trailforks link for this route? Going up for my first time soon and want to try and match this route. Seems sweet! Thanks 🤙🏽

You can hit me up on insta DM...
What do you think is the most jump filled trail that is not a double black in hurricane zone?
Probably hurricane... and then surfs up (the dh connector) has a bunch of good hits on it... mostly jump able rollers or doubles.
@@Projectnortheast thanks
Is this recent footage? Just wondering if the trails are ready to ride. Thanks again man I always appreciate your videos.
Footage is from fall... I waited till now as ridenoco just said the trails are open. I think charlies may be the only one not open as of right now
Thanks for putting in the bit about earning your turns. Shuttling is whack.

Cool video. BTW the "g" is silent in Kandagnar.
How difficult is the easiest trail off the top of Burke mountain. What is it comparable to at highland.
If you can ride odb odc you could ride rude awakening.... jbar is slightly harder but is always wet which makes it difficult in spots. And freeride is steep...
Hey I know it’s a different trail than in this video but is little river worth going to spend a couple hours there?
It's worth atleast a couple laps yes
Hello! What app are you using for the maps??
Trailforks
So, is the road climb still viable or are they trying to get folks off the road?

Yep
If you have never ridden there. There is no way you would know which way to go. Get a trail crew
out there and leaf blow and mark the trails
Would i die on a hard tail
@brendennadeau6628 lots of blue and green options that I would ride a hardtail on... hurricane, the newly revamped red tail etc.
The signage is terrible.
