That’s nuts. Would definitely hit them up for replacements. No one will want those tires after seeing this.
Always love your vids and your driving.. I have never seen tires exhibit that kind of damage. If funds permit I would opt for a different manufacture. I have always had good luck with Nittos, NT05 ( 200 ) tw.. The NT01 is a 100 tw but I have never used them. Good luck in whatever direction you go. Keep om keeping on !!

Yeah, I've heard good things about NT05 and 01's and if I decide to get all 4 tires they are on my list.
Kumho V730 tires and camber bolts. Zero toe.

Nice driving! Looks like max 15psi boost, so not "octane learned" or is that the best you can get on California 91 octane?

예전에 lsd 달린 전륜차 타봤었지만 진짜 아엔에 달린 e-lsd는 대박인거 같습니다. 👍
rfactor2에 최근 i30N BTCC 차량이 추가되서 막 달려봤었는데, 전륜, 380마력(?), e-LSD라 그런가 앞 타이어 갈려나가는게 실시간으로 보이더군요. 뒤는 80퍼 이상 남았는데 앞은 25~30퍼… 이쪽은 브레이크가 엄청 민감하기도 하고, 스티어링 기어비도 조금만 조작해도 각도가 휙휙 나오는 것도 한 몫하지 않나 싶습니다.
그나저나 어쩌다 영상을 보게된 후로 한 번씩 쭈욱 보게 되네요.^^ 요즘 rFactor2로 케이터햄 아카데미 차량이수동이라 감속이나 힐앤토 등등 참조하고 있습니다.
앞타이어 마모가 심하긴 하네요. 요새는 마모 밸런스 마춰주려고 2세션타고 앞뒤로 바꿔주고 타고 있는데도 앞타이어 갈려나가는게 실시간으로 보입니다. ㅠㅠ 이영상에서 타이어에 데미지가 난것도 아무리봐도 rumble strip에서 풀악셀로 달리면서 휠스핀 비슷하게 땅을 파고드는(?) 모션때문에 생긴게 아닌가 싶습니다. 새로 장착한 falken 타이어도 심하진 않지만 미세하게 나마 tread splicing이 시작된게 보이더라구요.
전 시뮬레이터로는 아세토로 드리프트만 가끔 하는데 언젠가 rfactor나 iracing도 꼭 해보고 싶네요. ㅎㅎ
I would really like to hear some commentary on any interactions from other drivers after a session. Has anyone approached you to talk about the car? Seems like it should get some fun reactions. Btw, 200 miles left in the break in period, but I did try map 2 on my JB4 (only to 4k rpms) and there was a substantial difference when boost kicked in around 3k. Especially noticeable in third gear.
At every event I get a few people come to me and ask me about the car because they've never seen one in person. They get surprised when I tell them what lap time this car puts down without any modifications.
Nice, I really want to try out JB4 in my car. I'm prolly going to stick with map1 as 91 octane is the highest I can get at the pump.

I think I've done about 5~6 trackdays with my first/second car a long time ago then before I stopped. Somehow my first trackday with Elantra N back in February was exactly 10 years since my last trackday event. How did I know? Google reminded me that with old photos when I got to the track. 🤣

Love the video just got my car last week getting to know it so I can eventually track the car. By any chance can I know what phone mount you are using.
I'm using a 21-22 elantra specific vent mount that I ordered from aliexpress with a magsafe phone holder from amazon.
You can search for "elantra cn7 abs phone holder" on aliexpress and it should show up.

인치다운 하는거 상관 없으시다면 제가 사용하는 18x8.5 +45 오프셋 휠에 245/40r18 사이즈 타이어를 거의 모든 아엔 오너분들이 사용 하시더라구요.
휠은 가격이 그나마 저렴한 konig flowform 라인이나 enkei 휠(제껀 enkei tsr-x 모델입니다)이 괜찬긴 한데 가격이 좀 비싸도 괜찬다면 work나 wedsport 브랜드도 가볍고 이쁜 디자인의 휠들이 많으니 한번 찾아보셔도 될거에요.
타이어는 트랙주행 데일리 둘다 생각하시면 가성비로는 넥센 sur4g가 최고로 알고 있습니다. 아니면 다른 200 treadwear 타이어 어떤걸 사용해도 만족하실거에요.

@@elantran wow! They were basically new right? Other than the few laps you ran with them… I’m wondering if they are replaceable by warranty. Usually tires like that have no warranty.
@@AlexGtheDon Yup, they were basically new and had only like 25 miles on them from my initial break-in driving on the streets just normal driving to heat cycle the tires for the first time. No burn-outs or anything like that.
I highly doubt these tires come with any warranty as they are for competition only. 😥

Yes, it is possible as they were not underinflated and I was monitoring the tire pressure (They have TPMS installed) during the sessions, too.
