Technically, Dodge had a diesel engine option in their 3/4 and 1 ton trucks in the late 70's, it was an inline 6 Mitsubishi diesel engine. However it wasn't very popular and only lasted a couple of years.
I am a proud owner of my 2008 Dodge ram 2500 mega cab. God bless y’all and there’s more proof that Cummins engines are the best ever and even before the 6.7 L turbo diesel came out that 5.9 could still do some damage in fact if any of you guys seen the video where the ram pulls the semi truck out of a ditch God bless y’all praying for everyone and in case you don’t understand a 5.7 L hemi or a 6.4 L hemi will create 395 to 410 hp but when it comes to trucks it has a lot more to do with foot pounds of torque than horsepower.
I've been waiting so long for this my dreams have came true
Do Alfa next.
agreed ! Alfa or even fiat
Foreign trash lol
Moose Chocolate wow you’re really stupid
The intro was the best thing ever
That first 20’s is confirmed accurate as to how most guys talk about their trucks
Did anyone else notice the subtle confirmation that Guy Fieri is an adult virgin?
I am sure I am the 364th person to tell you, but the 24 valve came out at the end of 1998 model year to meet new emissions standards; not in 2003 like you said. Keep up the awesome vids. Love em!
2019 = Now Ram Cummins runs 1,000 lbs ft
Which is probably about the same as those Cummins powering the ADL Enviro500s double-decker buses commonly seen in HK & Singapore, if you think about it
@@lzh4950 no
Only the 3500 Cummins with the High Output motor make 1000ft lbs but you’re right that there are Cummins starting in 2019 making that torque
And 400hp...
Who else loves the alt James in the crowd lol, you peeps have an awesome channel. Don't ever change the recipe because it taste delicious, stay authentic, stay crispy.
Finnish truck company Sisu also used Cummins diesels a long time.
I live in finland so this comment is pretty fun to see

Great video! FYI: "Harroun" is pronounced like the word maroon, like "Haroon." Ray was my Great-Great Uncle.

@@tmr8193 yeah he has too many reasons to say so and profit off it, we need to be careful before acknowledging as such, we need actual LEGAL proof
Sick!
I used this video to revise the history of cummins prior to my interview / assessment day. I got the job, cheers Donut.
