having breakfast and coffee while watching Jordan the Lion . Happy Mother's day to Jordans mom and all the mothers out there 🌷🌷 🌷 thank you for taking all of us with you on another adventure
I feel blessed to have been born & raised in California so close to all of these landmarks yet have taken for granted so much of Hollywood history surrounding me. Thank u Jordan for making me appreciate these legends more and landmarks like the old Graumans Chinese Theater where I saw my first movie The Ten Commandments with Charleston Heston, Yul Brenner, Ann Baxter, Yvonne De Carlo, Edward G. Robinson, etc. Our twin friends were used in the movie as Mr. Heston’s young son growing up. Mr. Heston’s son was the baby used in the floating basket in the movie as well. Thanks again Jordan for all your hard work and care in filming this venue amongst the crowds of people. ❤️🙏🏻🌴🐕🦺
Amazing stuff.
I love this. Last time I was there was back in the 60's and most of these celebrities were still alive. A lovely trip down memory lane. Thank you, Jordan.
If you look closely, you can see that Mel Brooks’ left handprint has an extra finger. He hoped it would catch the attention of random tourists who wouldn’t be able to believe their eyes
I have always wanted to go there! Betty Grable's leg, Jimmy Durante's nose, and the infamous John Wayne footprints made famous by I Love Lucy. A little bit of Hollywood history still available for the public. Maybe it will prompt someone to go and see a great classic film. Thank you Jordan!!!!! 😊☺️🥰❤️☀️☀️🌴🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️
Come
One of my favorite I love Lucy episode.
Lots of stars are shining there!
I love visiting the Chinese theater, fun, fun, fun
Another great vlog Jordan. You have such a great appreciation and knowledge of the golden era of Hollywood. 😊
I started watching your videos when we both lived in Los Angeles!
On behalf of those of us who know we'll never get to Hollywood, thanks for showing this! 2:37 Anyone have any idea why Mickey had TWO ceremonies, in '38 and '86? Perhaps the original slab was damaged and he recreated his original message in '86.
Thank you Jordan. You’re always a class act
Thanks
Thank you Jordan! You really bring the Hollywood magic!!!!!
Thank you Jordan loved the tour of the hand prints of celebrities
Hi Jordan, so many fond memories of the majority of stars that you mentioned here. Great that there is Leo the Lion and Trigger aswell. Great vlog Jordan.
I feel like there were a lot of foot/handprints cemented that really didn't deserve to be in that forecourt. But it was so nice to see the ones who did! I haven't been there since I was a kid, but I remember how fun it was to compare my kid handprints to Shirley Temple's! And of course I cannot think of Grauman's without thinking of Lucy and Ethel prying John Wayne's footprints out of the cement. Such a great pair of episodes!
Yes the I Love Lucy John Wayne episode was one of my favorites too! ❤️🙏🏻
jordan!!! always a pleasure.....
I can only thank you for the wonderful footage !
👍😊
Always enjoy, thanks Jordan
Seeing all the hand prints and foot prints is amazing.
Many thanks Jordan, this vlog is a great addition to your Hollywood back catalogue. The plaque where the Bushman house once stood really brings home the speed at which the city developed.
So awesome! I was there in 1998. They've added quite a few new ones since then. Good job filming around all those people!
Hi Jordan, thanks for sharing all the signature blocks in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theater. I was there in 1983. A lot of recent ones have been added. I love all the old classic stars of the 30s & 40s. Give Jah a belly rub from me. Take care
Thank you Jordan...!! I've always wanted to see these.
Thank you Jordan! I have always wanted to see the hand and footprints of the stars! This was greatly appreciated!
It's fun to check out all the hand and footprints. Looks like a lot of people still come here. Thanks for showing us around. Still crazy there. Stay safe and take care.
Great job Jordan! Thank you so making me feel SO much better today.
Famousssssssssssss, tambien in Italy Jordan. Fantastic! Thanks my friend
Hi, Jordan, great video it's been a long time since we have been to Hollywood so thank you for show it to us. Loved seeing all the footprints and hand prints of some of our favorite movie stars. Thanks
Thank you Jordan for doing this one. I've always wanted to see the handprints and signatures of all the stars. I appreciate your fantastic work very much.
Thank you for the experience I enjoyed it
Been there miss glamorous days Hollywood thanks Jordan
Thanks Jordan. It reminded me of home and when my parents took me to see movies there. Good times
I loved it! I’ve always wanted to see it. Thank You!
At my age now, I remember so many of those performer's.. just sad most of them are gone.. I'll be there soon enough too. 😎
That was so enjoyable, Jordan. I'm glad you choose to feature the hand and footprints with the stars' signatures during your stay in the L.A. area this time around. When seeing a film at the theater I often stopped by to see the memorabilia, but never did go around to view all of them or to take photos. So now we have your vlog offering to refer to. Thanks so much.
It is wonderful to hear you call it Grauman's Chinese!!! That's what it was when I was growing up, that's what it will always be no matter how they try to change it. I feel sorry for the younger crowd today that never experienced a real "Movie Palace". They were great!!!
Awesome....Thank you Jordan
This vlog is so fun. I loved seeing Shirley Temple and Roy Rogers. I watched these movies when I was a kid. Animal crackers in my soup.
Ty for another Hollywood video! I miss the area, moved east years back. Always a pleasure to watch your travels. 🎬
Thank you for taking me along on a trip I would never do on my own. Happy Mother's Day!❤
Thank you! I will never have an opportunity to visit. Memories 🤗
Such a great video Jordan. So many legends hand and footprints captured forever. I will suggest that Sid Grauman didn't forsee just how big and long lasting this "place of idol worship" would become over the years and decade long after his death. Some of the tiles are absolutely huge and rightly so, given to such iconic stars of the past like John Wayne, Gregory Peck and Victor McLaglen. But as the decades have past and prime space outside the Chinese Theatre clearly down to a minimum, we now see the shockingly small to tiny placed tiles honouring modern legends like Jane Fonda, Christopher Nolan, Robert De Niro, Mel Brooks etc just of the last 10 years, obviously just wedging the stars in at this point. I can also see the last great decade of oversized tiles used for the stars being in the 1990s when space was still aplenty. It's a shame really and more thought should've gone into this progress and the 1920s, 30s, 40s and 50s were lavishly granted to the stars not thinking the space is going to run out by the turn of the century.
Love seeing you back in cailfornia , you are definitely one of the best jordon, you know your stuff, been following you for yrs jah was a puppy, and so happy to see how far you have come, your girl is absolutely beautiful, your happy jah still a rock star, always excited for the journeys you take us on, stay safe during your travels,

Always wanted to go there.
I will never get to visit Hollywood so thank you so much for the trip to Grauman's Chinese Theater to see the footprints and handprints. It was awesome. Thank you so much.
I’m a big fan of Daze With Jordan & Jah. This has to be my most favorite episode,& what great knowledge you have of celebrities from way back back when. Keep up the good work & God Bless🙏⭐️
That has to be amazing to actually see ❤ I loved watching this thanks for sharing 👍👍😁
You just made my day! Always wanted to see this ❤
Enjoyed this very much, Jordan! So many stars. The ladies had tiny feet and hands back in the day. Say hi to Jah! Thanks!
Loved this, thank you!
Love that video Jordan!!
This was one of the highlights of my young life, I was 18, we were on our way to NewZealand to get some trotters and pacers, I’m a big movie buff of old Hollywood so this mad my life. My father loved Humphrey Bogart so I stood in his foot fronts and hands and sen the oic to my father he was so happy, Hollywood was so nice in 1070, we had such a great time, Ty for bringing back all those happy memories🐾🤗😎this vlog was wonderful ty ty Happy Mothers Day to your Mother, kisses to Jah 🐾
Yes I enjoyed it thanks so much
I loved this video, Jordan! I was there back in 2016 and I see that there have been a lot of additions since then. Very interesting and a little bit of being part of the Hollywood mystique! Thanks for doing this one! Here's to you, kid!
I was there in 20-22 l was amazed at how busy it was l was starstruck seeing Elvis Arnie Michael Jacksons star's l videod a few. sitting here looking through my Hollywood pictures. I took again Jordan, thank you for sharing this vlog.
Thank You Jordan for the Awesome vlog!😁❤
I love that you showcased the golden age!
It's really great, like travelling back in time to see these film Icons handprints. Truly Fascinating v/log Jordan. Thankyou.
Your video was awesome thanks 🙏🏼 😊👍
Love this vlog. I was there in the late 60's. Thanks for the memories.
Thank you for this ❤
Back in the 80's when I visited L.A. we went to Grauman's. Also, we were at the Farmer's Market and my friend and I heard this familiar voice and it was Danny Kaye ordering chicken gizzards. True story! 🙂
Hi Jordan! Love this video! It is wonderful to remember the old time stars and see their signatures. The Michael Jackson cement had the handprints of the kids, his shoes and glove and was dated in 2012. MJ died in 2009 and I remember seeing the ceremony on RUclips. Thanks again for all the great videos!! I appreciate all your hard work!
Hi Jordan !
Amazing! Every time I walk the streets in Grandtheft auto I think, “shit, this is where Jordan did a vlog from!”
Great job with the camera work, Jordan, shadows and all. I'm glad to see the Presley's are out there in the court. After Lisa Presley died, one of the reporters from ET did a story at Grauman's about Lisa's passing and said the handprints weren't there. He said he asked someone at Grauman's about it and mentioned they were going to put them out. I'm glad to see they did, but I feel if LMP hadn't passed, they probably would not be out there. I wish I'd been there the day they did the handprints (I didn't know anything about it), even though it seemed like a bit of a publicity stunt. Glad to see through your video they are there. And fun to see everyone else's feet and handprints too!
Hi Jordan! I definitely enjoyed it. I hope you do a tour inside the theater as well one day!
FANTASTIC BLOG JORDAN ❤
Very enjoyable thank you

Sad that Jayne Mansfield wasn’t able to do one hope they allow her daughter Mariska to have one overall another great video Jordan
Graumans chinese theater would be fun to see the hand prints of the movie stars good vlog jordan vickie napa ca
Loved this Vlog. The next time your there I would love to know the history of the theatre & can you go inside ?❤
18:27 Lily Tomlin’s has an extra small set of footprints signed “Edith Ann”, which was her 5 yo little girl persona- the gag where she’d sit in an oversized chair to make her look smaller. Nice touch!
My first visit to California was at the age of nine, in 1979. We had family friends who lived outside of LA, so while we stayed with them we visited several places in and around LA and Hollywood before taking a jaunt up the coast to wine country, San Simeon/Hearst Castle, and San Francisco, stopping in to visit family who lived outside of Sacramento. Our time in LA made the biggest impact on me (though Hearst Castle was a close second). I would not shut up the entire time before the trip, during the flight, and until we finally got there, about how I wanted to go to Grauman's Chinese Theatre (never mind that it had been known as Mann's Chinese Theater since 1973, and would remain under that name for another 28 years-- I didn't care) and see the side profile of Jimmy Durante in the cement. I was nine years old. What nine year-old in 1979 babbled about Jimmy Durante? (I was an odd kid, and I'm sure Warner Bros cartoons probably played their part.) But we made the pilgrimage, and I indeed saw the imprint of the Great Schnozzola, along with hand and footprints by Bud Abbott and Lou Costello (again, what nine year-old would have even known who these people were?). I distinctly recall standing there, after posing for a photograph in the footprints of R2D2 and C3P0, and overhearing a prepubescent boy, probably aged 12 or 13, shouting in an adolescent cracking treble, "Aww, GENE SIMMONS!!!! YEAHHHHH!!!!!" when in fact the footprints he was gushing over were not those of the KISS bassist, but rather of Jean Simmons, the English actress known for a host of roles in films during the 1950's and 60's, including "Guys and Dolls," "Elmer Gantry," and "Spartacus." Even at nine, although I didn't know who Ms. Simmons was exactly, I knew the difference in the spelling of their names. After traipsing around the fading grey and pastel concrete impressions of stars long-since passed, my parents, our LA friends and I wandered off somewhere in that same region of Hollywood Boulevard (at one point I swore up and down that I'd seen George Burns walking down the street, and for some odd reason, despite my insistence, no one would believe me), when we stopped in a souvenir shop where I purchased a marquee poster for "The Wizard of Oz." I still have the poster more than 40 years later, though it has a slight tear at one corner, and hopefully I'll have it properly framed before another decade passes. I was an old soul. I can't explain my absolute love for Old Hollywood even at that tender age, but it was resurrected with the advent of Turner Classic Movies in 1994, and I've never looked back. Watching your old and more recent videos in which you tell amazing stories of this bygone era just keeps my interest alive. Thank you so much for giving a voice to these irreplaceable people and places in cinematic and pop culture history. Your wealth of knowledge is astounding. It's obvious that putting your adventures out there is such a true labor of love. Your spirit is infectious and your laughter is a balm after a hard day, week, month... This video was just what I needed today-- wonderful stuff. Thank you for all that you do.
Thanks for that! Was there in 2019 and saw some of the same ones as you - I actually asked them where Danny Kaye was as I am a big fan. Was primarily interested in the really old ones
Jordon, watching this episode reminded me of the sceen from "Blazing Saddles", where Hedi Lemar runs into the Chinese Theatre, pauses briefly & says the name of a stuntman, followed by, "....how did he do such great stunts with such little feet".
Kind Regards Grimm Adelaide, South Australua.
This is one of my favorites Jordan. I, of course adored seeing my favorites: Cary Grant, Doris Day, Shirley Temple and Dick Van Dyke. So clever were Durante's nose, Betty Grable's leg and John Barrymore's profile. Do you know who the first celebrities who did their prints here? I assume Sid Grauman since it was his place and I saw Mary Pickford from the 20's. Were these the earliest? I was just curious. Again, this was a gem of a video. Thank you so much Jordan. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵
This was great 👍👍
I’ve ALWAYS wanted to see a video like this….thank you so much for spending the time on this and showing all individual people. Never seen half of these! A lot of people don’t have a cement piece though, some I’m shocked even do. What goes into the decision making who gets a cement piece? Donald Duck gets one but not Leonardo DiCaprio?
Happy Mother’s Day to you all Blessings from Pennsylvania 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I have a funny story about Joan Fontaine. I used to work for her when she lived in Carmel, CA. She was walking her dogs around the neighborhood when she came to a friends house. They were having some work done on their driveway. There was fresh cement, so she put her hand and foot prints along with her signature in the cement. Her friends thought that was the best thing! They said if they ever moved, they were taking that cement block with them! Joan had such a good sense of humor.
I was there for the Kobe handprint ceremony 💜💛
Thanks that was cool! Last time I was there was the earthquake of 75! That was earthshaking!!!
Thank you that is awesome that Robin Williams & Tom Hanks are immortalized forever together. Hopefully, Billy Crystal is near buy Robin Williams' best friend.
I went to Grauman's several times in the late 70s as a child when we visited our relatives in the area. I remember seeing hand and footprints of someone who won a contest. They were along edge on the front right side (?) I think almost in a corner pretty much out of sight from anyone walking around. I have never forgotten seeing them because it was so odd. Has anyone ever heard of these or seen them? Wonder if they are still there.
Hey Jordan - When you say you are surprised some are still there - where would they be? Have some been removed? Also, these handprints and feet look so small...do you think they are small compared to your own feet/hands? So interesting - thank you for another great report... Shirley Temple's little feet so darling!!
I wondered the same thing, why would they remove them?
Cool!!
I was there back in 1997, I was suprise to learn how different John Wayne footprint was from what I was use to seeing I Love Lucy episode where Lucy steal John Wayne's footprint! To bad Lucille Ball never had her footprint there, since she did alot of movies before during and after I Love Lucy. 🙂
I'm With you Jordan. I prefer the signatures more.
Jirdan great video! I know tgere are alot of prints but did you notuce if Katie Hepburn and Maureen O'Hara did one?
What a treat. I wonder if Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz have a block there at Graumann's?
I love the old Hollywood! I feel like they should preserve those prints a little bit better. Can never redo those like they redo the walk of fame Stars. And I always think of my favorite I love Lucy episode when they're at the Chinese theater stealing John Wayne's footprints 😊 classic ❤ my mom and I met Mickey Rooney in the 90s at a book signing in an old store called Henshey's in Santa Monica, of course it's no longer there, they knocked it down 😢 but I have a photo of my mom hugging and squeezing Mickey Rooney 😊 this makes me want to watch a good old classic Hollywood movie ❤ My uncle, my dad's brother, worked for Gregory Peck, he lived at his house. He would drive him to the award shows, he was like his right-hand man. One time my uncle got caught in the kitchen eating the food for the guests, well, he got in trouble and got fired. But then Gregory Peck rehired him because he felt bad. My cousin (uncle's son) referred to him as Mr. Peck.
