VIM is better because of all the power keys, you've got essentially productivity aliases and if you build up that you can edit text documents with blinding speed due to the power keys that let you just do button combos to represent commands. And the modal nature of it. I know VIM is much superior, i'm just not used to it.
I don't like macos but the option I got now is to use it no other way, Asahi Linux is good but not as expected as it lacks alot of feature. Hope I can change my laptop buying decision right now.

I just feel more productive on my linux machine with my workflows, though once I'm in kitty, the experience is the same, just flipping between different applications is a pain though relative to my Linux workflow

I have arch on my home tower, for gaming, wine and other projects if I need the GPU compute. Windows is so cucked. YOU LITERALLY HAVE TO RUN ANOTHER KERNEL TO RUN DOCKER.... Or 20 other programs, u shouldn't have to WSL2 and sacrifice half ur memory to a kernel bc Windows sucks... But yeah, this is the only *nix machine my company offers. And macbookrpo M2 I banging
