Brilliant! have been thinking of buying a Mevo start pack, but maybe it’s better use the iPhones and iPads I already got and get the Mevo pro subscription.
I notice you also have the Yolobox pro too. I'm considering using the 3 Mevo and connecting wireless to the Yolobox and switching it from there instead of Ipad. Have you tried that? I like that the Yolobox have other HDMI inputs too
@@SYZ birddog is a company that provides NDI products. They have an encoder and also a decoder. The birddog play is a decoder that will easily connect to your phone so you can set up that phone and then the device will decode from your phone and have an HDMI output to your yolobox. No mevo needed
Since this video was made we picked up an ‘in piano’ mic and run it thru the sound system. Before we picked it up as ambient sound. Which seemed logical as we were hearing it separate from the sound system before we mic’d it anyway.
@@JasonHoffmanYT thanks for your reply. Can you share what mic you used? We mic our piano but run a separate mix so the piano goes to streaming only. But I’m working on improving the sound quality.
I believe you use propresenter to combine your slides with your live stream production, but is there a way to bring slides from propresenter or powerpoint or a similar desktop-based solution into the Mevo multicam app during a live church service? Something like the screencasting from an iphone, except using a computer? Is this something the NDI beta option would work for? My goal is to handle all the livestream video processing and publishing within the Mevo ecosystem, including integrating sermon slides or song lyrics, to keep it simple for my volunteers. I'd have a separate team operating slides for the in-house audience, and I just want to send that over somehow.
Yes, the upcoming NDI feature of Multicam will allow this. So the NDI Tools suite on the computer running PP7 should allow you to send a feed into Multicam via NDI when this feature drops.
Thanks man!
very helpful! thank you Jason!
Glad to hear it!
Is it possible to run Mevo Go on an IOS Emulator (on a macbook) to share notebook screen?
Very helpful!
I was wondering though is there any way I can run scripture or lyrics with this setup? I have a iPad and a iPhone.

What you describe is where a lot of churches should start. Thanks

You can do this with the birddog play and use the NDI settings on the cameras. I do this with an atem mini extreme
@@erikpaullive what is Bird dog? I intend to use the 3 Mevo as wireless cameras and switch with the Yolobox without the Ipad

Mevo will not wirelessly connect with YBP. It only inputs via wired webcam to the YBP's usb input.
@@JasonHoffmanYT but, you can use the USB powered birddog play, which will then output to HDMI.
Wait until you can use the birddog PTZ camera...
Ah yes, the 'coming soon' features...LOL I agree, when we get NDI inputs there will be a lot of added possibilities.
If we use another device like a phone or tablet connected through Mevo Go, will sound come through from a video prerecorded on one of those devices?
Not yet. They released the Go app with this as a known bug.
How is your piano mic’ed?
