I am going to buy one today so I can live stream my preaching in Facebook. How can I connect the camera to my mixer and have a balanced sound output. You mentioned it at the end of the video, but I can't find the tutorial to do it.

Does your iPad have to have phone service to work with the Shure mvi? My phone works with it, but when I have my iPad connected (7th Gen) it doesn't work? It won't even light up. (the Shure that is). I have it connected to our sound board at church and have it mixed down.
no it should not require any data to work. the mvi should work on its own. have you tried to use the mvi software app to record some stuff apart from the mevo? see if that works, like garage band. i don't recall the connection type for the 7th gen ipad? lightning or usb c?
Please I have a problem when I conect my mevo an update is required I press to updated it but I got this message. firmware update failed. IO failure . Please how can I fix it
sorry to hear that. are you connected to a wifi or data source when you do this? if you have another device, try it. For example try your phone, or another ipad if you can to see. Typically, the new update is released through the app you download to your phone or tablet. After the app connects to the Mevo, it attempts to update. And just checking, your Mevo has sufficient power/battery charge. Hope this helps

Also Mevo has just updated their app to work with Periscope.
