Trucks and men - Cameroon / Brazil: mud roads

In tropical regions, during the rainy season, trucks and drivers are put to the test when they travel on muddy tracks. In Brazil, the BR156 road has some dangerous sections which do not prevent Sandro, a truck enthusiast, from going to supply isolated villages in the heart of the Amazon forest. Benjamin, an experienced bus driver, faces similar challenges on the muddy roads of central Cameroon. In addition to the pitfalls linked to the presence of mud, he must deal with passengers and motorists who are sometimes impatient due to delays caused by the state of the road.

I remember when I worked as a driver, a terrible winter with a temperature of
- 23 degrees celsius, the air heater only worked on the emergency system, I stopped at night in a parking lot to sleep and the siroc (auxiliary heating) didn't want to work, I had a travel bottle of methane gas for food preparation, I left it let the bottle heat the cabin with the thought because I will either freeze to death or I will die of suffocation,
God decided that it wouldn't happen like that and kept me alive, I thank God that he was with me and took care of me because I never had an accident.
I think that 99% of drivers know that their fate is in the hands of God
