Glad it helped :) I remember the feeling of how lost I was when starting, which is one of the reasons I started this channel, in order to help others more easily understand a very complex amount of information

Hi. Great videos. Have subd. I have a question. I have a Multiplus2 on my boat. Connected to a generator but NO shore power AC connected to it. When drawing AC power through inverter, if we draw to higher load (over 3000w) the inverter does not seem to shut down and overheats until it blows a 300a fuse to batteries. Is there any way to change configuration to get inverter to shut down. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the sub and welcome! Ok, the first thing to make sure of is that you have the latest firmwares installed on MPII and Cerbo, as this could be a cause for a miscommunication.
If they are up to date and its still happening, then you can use NodeRED to configure a flow.
First, create a n "Edit VE.Bus System" input node that calls the MPII Input Power Phase 1 (if AC1 is what the generator is connected to) as the measurement.
Then run it through a switch node, setting the first state to >=3000 and the second state to say < 2990 (or maybe a bit lower to avoid nuisance tripping).
Then connect a "VE.Bus System control" node to each for the switch node outputs. Select the "Switch Position" as the measurement for both. Then set the "Initial Value" to "4 - Off" for the one connected to the =>3000 output of the switch node, and "3 - On" to the
