He believed if you had a qb that was smart with the football and put stars around him, youd be able to win championships no matter how talented the qb was. Unfortunately, teams learned that if they stop denver's run game, they could just play shallow and none of our qbs were athletic enough to score behind them (except lock who had other issues). Elway was incredible at finding defensive talent but not a qb.
They wanted to stiff him out of his money, but kudos to him for standing up to them….. they were going to get rid of him anyway 👍👍

A lot of dissention came when Russell got tired of risking his body bc the Seahawks didn't want to get him better players to support him and the chocolate milk guy (I can't think of his name and the other player I can't think of his name either) to help them get back to the winning column they used to have. They just wanted him to keep trying to put everything on his back to win. GOD had nothing to do with none of this.
I don't care about Richard Sherman bc he talks too much when he left the Seahawks too. Lynch really doesn't say too much but is pacifying Sherman bc he knows why Russell left the Seahawks. They, as in every Seahawk and Broncos fan, should be ashamed of talking about him when he won them a Superbowl.
The Broncos mistreated him and now the Falcons are about to get to where they want to be again before they started putting their decline on Matt Ryan until he left.
But it's a new day for Russell Wilson and the Atlanta Falcons and I hope he does well.

I’m a Falcons fan. I’ll take anything more than what we’ve had the past two years. I think Ridder has potential, but someone needs to work with him, so he doesn’t stare down receivers. I like to see them get a great veteran like Wilson and a rookie, preferably next year when Carson Beck comes out. Then Russell can school him for when he retires.
Wilson wasn’t great but played solid this year I mean he basically had the same numbers as PM of the Chiefs.

Broncos are like $47mil over the cap tho, so they actually need to CUT players, and if they're smart, try to acquire tons of draft picks.
-If I were them, I'd try to trade Russel to the Commanders. New Coach is Dan Quinn, he won a superbowl with Russell and they need a QB, AND they have lots of cap space. Maybe ask for a 3rd and a 5th round pick.
-Then trade Jerry Jeudy to the Patriots. The rumor is that they are sticking with Mac Jones one more year. Juedy was Mac's college WR so they have chemistry (they should sign Calvin Ridley, by that same philosophy). The Jeudy trade allows them to switch spots in the first round. Now the broncos have the #3 pick.
-Call the Saints, ask for Mike Thomas (WR), Andrus Peat (probowl OL) and 2 late round picks. They get to switch spots in 1st round. Saints now pick at #3 (probably Joe Alt) and Broncos pick at #14. They should probably pick the best DL available. Plus now they added FOUR more picks that they can play with. Grab a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round and have him sit a year behind Jarrett Stidham

I don’t remember the broncos coming out and saying they were going to cut Russell, or trade him or cut him. All I have heard is someone else saying all of this. So the Broncos haven’t public said they were going to do any of these things in your video. So tell us who is stirring the pot about all of this???? Yes they asked him to wave his injury pay, and when you look at what they have gotten out of him the past two seasons you can’t really blame them.
You say they need to build their team up first then go get a rookie QB, but that’s a little harder when the QB has such a big contract, the reason teams can build around the qb on a rookie scale contract is in fact because their qb IS ON A ROOKIE SCALE CONTRACT.
If it was so easy to do when the QB is not on a rookie scale contract then it wouldn’t be such a big deal to do it and take advantage of the fact the QB is on a rookie scale contract.
In other words you have to get a QB in a rookie scale contract before you can just build a team up around a QB in a rookie scale contract. You can’t build the team up first, not all the way like you said they should just do while playing russell Wilson his contract

I think you are spot on. I am a Bronco fan, and I do not think Wilson is the right QB for Denver. But, Wilson signed the contract Denver handed him, so I can't seem to find much blame for Russell. If someone needs to go, it should be whoever was the architect of that initial trade and the contract.
