- Jesus teaches the disciples the Lord’s Prayer.
Matthew 6:1-13
1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

The "Lord's Prayer" has been Supernaturally changed!
Here is what I was taught when I was a toddler by my Grandmother Hazel Romahn around 1965 when I was around 5 years old.
OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN,
HALLOWED BE THY NAME
THY KINGDOM COME,
THY WILL BE DONE,
ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN
GIVE US THIS DAY,
OUR DAILY BREAD
AND, FORGIVE US OF OUR TRESPASSES,
AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US
AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION,
BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL
FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM,
AND THE POWER,
AND THE GLORY,
FOREVER AND EVER

Now, the "Evil One" (Satan and his minions) have been given a short time to do this abomination and corruption of Scripture.
Instead of "Who art in Heaven" it now says, "which art in Heaven"
Instead of "On Earth" in now says "In Earth".
Instead of forgive us of our "Trespasses as we forgive those who "Trespass" against us, it now says "Forgive us of our "debts' as we forgive our "debtors".
Amos 8:11 - Speaks of this time we are presently in.
Daniel 7:25 - Also speaks of the time when "God's written Word" (Holy Bible) will no longer be protected (sealed) from the evil one and his minions.

Kraig thank you for sharing that tender story about your grandmother. I do not think the intention was to supernaturally change the word of God because each translation is only but a copy of the original. The most accurate version will always be the Greek/Hebrew version and therefore these slight changes are not done in malice. They are just alternate translations.
It doesn't matter if the word trespasses or debts or sins are used, it is obvious what the Lord meant whichever word is used. The main thing is say whatever words you use from the heart and not just the mouth.

I love Jesus Christ and all my life since i was 11 yrs old and I am now in my late 50's , I'm just waiting for him, my job my house my car's and worldly things just not that important at all, just as long as the LORD Jesus Christ accepts me, everyday I pray and all the time I pray for him.
I've had some thoughts about things I'd do differently, as well, as I've watched these. Then I had an experience in which one of the things I critiqued initially ended up making a huge impact in my life. I believe that certain things are the way they are in these videos because the Spirit inspired someone to do something a certain way. That's the only way I can explain how every Church video (even the semi-cheesy 1980's ones), can have such a huge spiritual impact on me when I watch them.
