Have had mine since 2021 and I love them, they’re the closest Nike has released to the Romaleo 2s….THE GOATS. I’ve looked all over the internet for a pair of brand new Romaleo 2s
The reason why the toebox is horribly narrow (I lost feeling of my toes couple of times) is because of the goddamn insole. I took them off and switched them to my old and worn insoles of my Adipower1's and alot more room for my feet.
May you please give me your advice for choosing between those or the Reebok Legacy lifter. I love both of them designwise. Wanna give them a gym routine usage (all accesory muscles + multi joint ones). Thank you, love your video❤
When this came out I loved the look of this shoe, seen quite a few bad reviews from weightlifters though . Seems the legacy lifter 2/antas/asics 727 are the best shoes out right now
It’s definitely personal preference. A lot of strong oly lifters have been using these. They are a good shoe, a heavy shoe. But, I think a lot of lifters would prefer a wider toe box so they can spread the toes out. That itself is probably why the reviews have been unfavorable.
I think the real test will be to see if anyone competes in the rom4, most weightlifters seem to be sticking with the 2. That being said ive heard some say the legacy 2 is better than the Rom2 also
@@getstrongby4038 it seem so, asian and europe competitions i saw them being used. Even Max Lang win gold with this and had a good review. But in his case, im a little suspicious, not sure if he is sponsored by nike. Ehab also has videos training in them. I also saw videos of 'youtuber weightlifters' to put them a name (no disrespect at all btw) with a lot of bad reviews too but idk... If the real pro use them and compete, well...
@@dragonmaldito yeah max lang is definately sponsored, he even rated the savaleo highly but its junk! Ive seen a few use them but probably due to rom2 being unavailable, sika strength guys know their weightlifting not international champions but eoin is a very good weightlifter, i was going to get these but i found 2 pairs of rom 2s
probably a 9.5 but if your not sure measure your foot with measuring tape, what ever length you get go up half a size of the corresponding sizing chart
Do you have hammer toe wearing this shoe? My feet is about 27cm, I went half size up and choose 27.5cm (43EU) but my toe is a little bit hammer toe. Cannot flat it out. Not sure if it's normal or I should choose a shoe with larger size
Should have went another size or two up. My feet measure 26cm and 8.5US jammed my toes at the front and sides. At 9.5 my Small toes were still squashed a little
I just got the shoe from a friend and it was size 11. I usually wear 10.5 and it has a little space and I found the 11 to just have a tiny bit of space left around 2-3 fingers in the back
Hi, sorry ima year late😀 but i was wondering are those shoes bendy in a toes area( like can you tiptoe in them without damaging sole)? Asking since i do leg press calf raises so id like to know. Thanks
@@PandaTRBL hey man I ended up getting the legacy lifters 2 there my first lifting shoe I’m not sure how they should fit but ik they fit kinda lose they should be tight shouldn’t they not too the point where my toe hurts but they should be more snug than anything shouldn’t they
@@mr.everything1969 I have both those shoes, the legacy lifter is longer than most imo The rom4 is tight but I just threw a shoe tree in overnight and it's fine now
@@dannyboy410 yes that's correct It was perfect after one night of shoe tree, I think people just aren't giving them time to break in tbh, fits great now

Pretty much described exactly what I want, thanks for a great review
Thanks for watching!
Might cop these for squats only
Did you
Well you should be only squatting in these anyway😂😂what else were you gonna use it for
@@YourMuvva deadlift or bench
@AyekevZ definitely don't use these for deadlifts
@@YourMuvva seen others use it, some say it’s good so idk
Narrow toe box. Go half a size up.
Yes. My experience *exactly* with this shoe.
I actually went 1.5 sizes up. I was surprised. I’m a Nike 9, the Rom 4 at 10.5 fit right.
Started watching your channel when looking up nsuns, really like your videos! Keep it up man
Appreciate the love josh!!
Damn boi, already at 1k subs. Keep going my dude
Arno!! I always appreciate the support and all the love my bro!!
Banging review 🔥
Great Video!! Learned a lot. Thank you
I just copped my pair today

Have you tested the Reebok Legacy Lifter 2?

If I’m a size 9 in vans. What size should I get in these Romaleos? 9.5? 10?
probably a 9.5 but if your not sure measure your foot with measuring tape, what ever length you get go up half a size of the corresponding sizing chart
I wear romaleos 2 and 3xd in us6.5
Do I have to 0.5 size up for the romaleos 4?
My hero
My idol
Would you recommend this for deadlifting?
No
For deadlifting you should use a flat sole
helllll nooooo
Notorious lift deadlift slippers gen 2.0 best
How much height do these add??
Are you dumb?
Just get a Romaleo II. It was done right and no need for an update.
if only we could get our hands on them or if nike made them again

The amount of people askig if they can deadlift w these is insane. Giving me noob vibes but theyre here lookong at weightlifting shoes
Do they sell these in stores? I heard you can only buy these online
They not in the stores…tried to try on in person.
Wear j1 lows sz 10.5 should i size up or nah
@@ClenchYT-ln8ie yes definitely size up!
I have a bit of wide foot I’m normally a size 9.5 , should I go for a size 10 or 10.5 ?
i would say go for a 10 but if you want more room in the toe box 10.5

From experience and being that I do the same thing I would say go no shoes for LP CR. You’ll get a higher ROM and you won’t risk damaging the shoe
For women they run larger
Good to know!!
how do weightlifting shoes feel for deadlifts? is it alright to be deadlifting with them?
no, dl require flat shoes that are close to the ground
You can deadlift with them but they will increase the rom of the lift because of the elevated heel
Dude no. Wtf😂😂
I wear a size 9.5 in air forces man what do u think would be a good size for me to get ? A 10 ? I don’t want them too tight
yeah go get yourself a 10. these fit real tight
