Honestly starting with the 2003 version of FMA is better, they did the first big chunk of the show a lot better, brotherhood was made with people having seen 2003 in mind which is why they changed/added some stuff early on in brotherhood Brotherhood is better overall but people sleep so hard on 2003, it’s still very very good, Yutaka Nakamura worked on it and not just for the openings like Brotherhood!

It only had 2 seasons, the story was much of the fantasy-coming of age type, but the settings and a certain...idk, underlying tenderness? that made it feel unique. though I guess reacting to it wouldn't bring many viewers, so maybe you could just watch it for yourself😊 Dororo(2019) too, not very famous but worth watching it

I don't know Japanese, but from other comments I've gotten the impression that Shingeki No Kyojin is an intentionally ambiguous phrase that can mean subtly different things (e.g. attack of the titans, attack the titans, the titans that attack, and yes, the Attack Titan). But English does not have a similar ambiguity, so they intentionally mistranslated it as a rather nonsensical phrase rather than commit to a particular (potentially spoilery) interpretation.
Not exactly, no. "the attack titan" is more of a direct translation. If you want an even more direct translation it's "attacking giants/titan". Japanese can be very much like that, where it's more of a loose translation or rough translation, as if you were to directly translate it, you either would get something that doesn't exactly sound good (like attacking titan) or you just don't have the correct words to translate as the Japanese word would be too complicated
