One thing Teban Garden does not have MRT station. The nearest MRT station is at Jurong East interchange. Need to take bus no: 78 or 79 to reach there. Furthermore the carpark there is very small and narrow. A bit inconvenient I should say. And the value of your house will drop if there is no MRT station located at where you are staying.
Bus from Jurong east to Teban is only about 10mins. They building a MRT station now. Not only bus 78 and 79 goes to teban but 143 and 143M. From Clementi you can take 201
$2!! OMG! Salute uncle. Thanks for the great video!
Bro, thanks for introducing cheap and good hawker food in SG.
Would appreciate if you don't keep emphasize how unbelievably cheap the food is to the hawker though.
Cos if they decided to raise their price, many people who can only afford such cheap food, may find hardship looking for affordable meal for themselves. Hope you understand.. 🙏
I love that padang-style Malay nasi too - starting with a plate of rice, you point to the foodstuff you want on it. I often choose rendang, green beans, tempeh/tofu, telor sambal, brindal. And chicken livers when available. Nice video & nice hawker centre near the Pandan Reservoir!
Wa u really eat a lot haha I applaud u.
Btw u using which cam for shooting? GoPro?
Can get noodles at $2, really unbelievable but true. This is even cheaper than KL price after conversion. I wonder how he can still make a profit. It's mind-boggling indeed. Like charity work
There my aunty salbiah malay stall shop when I small until now
First time I've ever seen someone have ice in their tau huay lol. Weather has been really unpleasant though.
Prefer white chicken, but some places serve better roast than white, so I go with whatever they have that's better.
Nice to ask the hawker cooks where they originate from. It adds the history to the food they have.
I wondered how you can eat so much in one place? Do you wait for awhile to get to the next one? 😅
👍thank you for sharing!
Right to the heart of the matter, Piggy. Right to the heart!
morning 5-6am the kopitiam next to it already very crowded
chicken rice looks delicious... !!!
Thank you
My guy over here eating so much - slowly transitioning to a competitive eating channel! Also - that mutton rendang looked amazing!
Coffeemaze - daughter operating
古早 coffee - parent operating
Actually the small coffeeshop has nice food also, nasi briyani, econ noodle, prata❤
Waaah everything looks so delicious and cheap (deflation?)... maybe the hawkers get subsidized rent?
Wonder why 🤔 on Google the center is only rated 3.9/5 ⭐
It is possible if the hawker owners are first or second generation. At my place (Bedok Reservoir), we have hawkers who took over from their grandparents or parents. Their rental is like $500 or something. Hence they can sell their food cheap and can afford to close and rest for months.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Any info on opening hours of nasi padang stall? TIA.
Hold on. Let me check Google maps. They usually indicate the stall timings
It indicates 8am-7.30.
But to get the best things is always around lunch time. 1130-1200 where you'd have the freshly prepared foods
The chickens at the end of the video ... a homage to the chicken rice meal 😅
25:38 😂😂😂😂😂😂
$2?!? Wow!
Could this be the last noodle stall in SG selling noodle at $2 😮
Asam Pedas! I miss Malay food so much
🙌👍👍👍👍👍👍
🎉still the same free loader
You should visit the fish stall at the market behind. It has the biggest selection of fish I've ever seen !
The chicken in the chicken rice looks so tender and juicy, must be very nice...🤤
Gosh, looking at the amount u eat on every trip plus those shaky hands, i am concerned for u😅
😂
