I'm having the same problem on a cadillac srx 2005 but dont you need to clone or swap vin on the junkyard ecu?

My srx keeps losing power. Do you think I need to change my ecm?

could be a sensor, maybe resetting ecm could help. There is a video on youtube called " How To Reset All ECU’s and Control Modules in your Car or Truck ". Look it up, easy way to reset all sensors and do a relearn. Seems to be some kind of magic trick.

I having the same problem but I brought a ecm from the junkyard that already came reprogrammed but my car still haven’t the same problem

Sometimes you have to get the same ECM or the one that matches to your numbers or so
