Hey dude if you haven't done it yet,set the overdrive mode to medium to reduce the ghosting on this monitor,i used to own it and it made a difference even if not that much but still its something.
So I am playing MLB the show and I am switching to a monitor, I found this on amazon, and after looking through a ton of other monitors on amazon, I saw an asus tuf that is not curved with 1 Ms response time and 165 hz. The hz for mlb the show maxes at 120 hz, and i have heard that 1 Ms response time is really good. Will 0.5 on this one make a difference, and also does the curve affect gameplay with any lag/glitching online? And obviously the main question is would you recommend this one over other I have looked at like the asus and others like that?
Probably getting this to replace a 4 year old monitor which actually has nothing wrong technically, only because a small red bug had gotten into the screen and without thinking I squished it and now there's a red mark in there that I can't clean without taking it apart.

I'm actually in the same position right now - I've got a great PC build but my monitor (1080, 60hz) is not doing it any justice and i'm starting to feel like it's hindering my performance in esports/fps titles. I never really saw a need for any beautiful picture since i'm happy with what i've got at the moment but the actual refresh rate and frames are starting to annoy me! Your assurance of staying at 1080p but upping the Hz making for a way better experience is exactly what I was looking to hear! This guy is on sale as well.
