- A bizarre police pursuit across Montgomery County, Maryland ended early Friday morning after the suspect tried to flee on a Metrobus. 7News' Skytrak7 chopper captured the entire pursuit.

Never have I've seen a squad car behind the fleeing vehicle only to somehow lose it which then allowed this guy to pull up to get some air, sit for a bit then walk to catch a bus. I have this on 1.5 speed and I still can't believe it's going to take them about 40 mins to get their perp, lol...

The best part of these chases is when multiple police cars unnecessarily block and delay traffic long after the culprit is arrested.
Life in Maryland seems to be subdued compared to California.

I'm watching this video and astonished that there are absolutely no police around to apprehend this criminal for 30 minutes. Where are the police? They need to fire the whole Montgomery county police leadership and start over. It is a shame that the local Fox new affiliate new station has to follow this criminal for 30 minutes before you see any police. The other 2 crooks got away, not surprisingly. Montgomery county is become like NYC where criminals have more rights than victims. What a disgrace.

In Bulgaria (Europe) we don't have police helicopter, no news helicopter, no HEMS, only the army have helicopters. We don't have the proper roads for a police chase.

Montgomery police was camped out having doughnuts and coffee and could not pursue due to sugar glazed fingers..lol.Some L.A. citizen fleeing L.A. police took the wrong turn and ended up in Montgomery County Maryland..

I didn't see a single police car until the two that pulled up right where he got off the bus. I'm sure he was convinced he got away after that long bus ride. There sure kept him sitting in that bus stop for a long time. What's the point of that?

Trying to police with what they have to work with. When the County Exec was elected the then police chief put in his papers, the next in line took a job in a neighboring county and two candidates from out of county withdrew after meeting the County Exec. With everyone running for cover the County Exec was forced to fill the police chief position with someone he previously said he would never consider.
