For those not used to working with babies- as infants they reach out as shown when they need to be picked up and have their needs attended to, but as they learn to walk and gain independence, they often still reach out for physical contact, so overtime rather than needing to be picked up and held, being allowed to sit in a lap or even having their hand held can provide the contact they need to feel safe, along with developing self soothing behavior suck of thumb sucking or playing with their hair. Cool detail added by the animators to show such toddler specific behavior!
it is strange, I am autistic but really young kids seem to cling to me, at least those of my sisters, I think it's because I don't get angry and when I do feel that way I realise how I felt as a kid and subtly leave for a bit rather than unloading on them without letting them run amock, also I go all in on their interests, one of them found a dead pidgeon and wanted to dissect it, I printed out anatomical sharts and start studying myself so I can teach the basics, that is what makes or breaks a well adjusted kid, support for any legitemate passion (legitemate as it has substance, a kid saying I want to be famous I wouldn't do anything to help that happen, a kid wanting to be a dancer, actor, musician, I'm all the way there) I don't know if all of this is my ASD but I recently learned that it isn't actually a dissability, I love hanging out with people that share it and I believe it to actually have more benefits than negatives, it just happens to be the case that most people don't have it and thus among them it isn't so great.
@@istoppedcaring6209 I'm autistic as well and kids really seem to like me, they always want to hang around me, even when I say I don't want to play they don't get half as upset as they do with others.
One of those kids looks like Vincent Adultman. You'd think a guy who is supposedly always busy with business transactions wouldn't have so many children.
It's also a good representation of the difference between having a child-like personality and being immature. People see Todd as immature, yet here Judah is shown to have immense respect for Todd. He looks up to him and cares about his opinion. You don't earn the respect and admiration of others by being immature. There are several other examples in the show of Todd showing character growth and emotional maturity especially in recognizing when a relationship isn't working and being able to elaborate exactly where the failings are. Bojack, Yolanda, his dad. Todd isn't my favorite character in the show because he's a goofball. He's my favorite character in the show because he's a goofball _who knows what he wants._ He's the first to find his happiness in a cast full of people suffering different forms of depression.
I’m.. im sorry, when did this happen?? I have rewatched Bojack Horseman like three times now and I don’t remember this scene happening. How did I miss this??? This is so good
I always found it really wholesome that Judah was equally alarmed over Todd not considering him sophisticated or a friend
This is not time for his famous Judah tantrums
I think they have potential to be friends, but they are now work buddies.
@@matheussanthiago9685 XDDD
wth did judah do 😭
@@xx_somescenecath0lic_xx888 Todd said it lol
judah holding that childs hand with no hesitation tho
ok that, is just damn adorable, and all the kids just clung onto him as well, lol
@@average-art3222Kids kinda know when they're safe lol

Oh my gosh, I never realized that he’s writing his love song to PC in this before Todd comes in!
I DIDNT NOTICE THIS UNTIL NOW EITHER AAAHH
OMG I JUST NOTICED NOW, TOO
I just noticed too! My heart is warmed!
Dude same
Goddamn, this show's writing just keeps on giving
I love that Judah let’s them all climb on him without any hesitation. Such a good dad
Ruthie must be the luckiest adopted child in all of Los Angeles.
@@RoboWatchgirlYeah
He let the little blonde human boy hold his finger
I love how Judah sticks his hand out for that one kid to hold it. Doesn't cringe or seem disturbed by it, just lets the kid do his thing.
Nice detail spotting!
todd telling judah not to throw one of his famous judah tantrums gets me every time
You can tell Judah is like child whisperer or magnet because they all don’t want to leave him

All humans look-a-like
Ruthie has got Judah as a Papa and Todd as the fun uncle. Luckiest damn baby in the world.
He was writing the song
Omg, you're right! How did I never notice this!
OMG YES!!!!!
I can’t stop looking at the kid and the rollie-pollie fighting over the leaf 😆 such a cute little detail
damn, Judah is adorable
So he does consider him as a friend. Just not as a sophisticated adult.
Judah being in the process of writing his love song is so sweet
Todd and Ruthie is the best duo of the show
I just looked it up, and Judah's VA is the same as Batman's from The Brave and The Bold and Harley Quinn.
Shoot, I hear it now
"this is no time for one of your famous judah tantrums" is something i think about often lmao
The baby elephant squirting Todd is so cute!
Sus
The baby elephant! ❤

Todd never ceased to amaze me😂😂😂
I just realized he was writing his love song to Princess Carolyn when Todd walked in
THE BEST BOJACK HORSEMAN MOMENT
He's called Judah but he looks like the Jesus stereotype lol
Oh Judah voiced by another Batman VA
What kind of animal is the baby eating the leaf? A bug?
Rollie pollie
It's probably a beetle
Remember friends, rollie pollie isnt insect. In fact, its a crustacean. 😮 And they are best!
the form in that little critters climb on Judah is so adorable, and he emotionless as a robot despite that, as always (0:45) HA HA HA.

lol since it’s been a year you’ve probably figured out where this part is in the show, but just in case you haven’t, it’s in season 6.
I actually hadn’t found out since then lol. I don’t have Netflix anymore so I couldn’t never go back to check. Thank you!
I died from cuteness when the kids all climbed on Judah. I’m so happy PC has him. 🥹
He has a lion mane so frankly good for pc. It never would've worked long term with Ralph
I just found the lil bug child to be the most cutest one lol.
Shame we diidn't get any more Todd-Judah moments
CUTE
JUDAH WRTING HIS SONGSS
Aww I want Judah to be my sophisticated friend
WAS JUDAH WRITING THE LOVE SONG OMG
