I bought and received one of these guitars today in DBS colour, what can I say, absolutely stunning in every sense, build and colour quality is amazing! Still have to try it through the amp, but first impressions are superb!
One can only hope that Fender/Gibson die hearts finally open up to the simple fact that there is a whole new world of guitars out there, and will start buying those european beauties. It won't make any sense for North American dealers to import something that will be hanging on the wall for years, no matter how good it is. P.S. I own PRS SE Mikael Akerfeldt signature model. It's a great (Korean made) guitar but, it was out of production in no time because: 1) It was named after Swedish guy 2) Had Opeth logo on it and... 3) Probably the most significant, it wasn't a Strat, Tele or LP. It didn't matter that any clone of Fender/Gibson family made overseas doesn't come even close to its quality of sound and craftsmanship. It just didn't sell in North America (although it was American PRS designed model).

Does anyone know when this guitar will be available to order och to by directly from a store in Sweden?
Yes, all Hagstroms (with the exception of 2-3 high end models) are made in China but they are build according to Swedish design, standards and quality requirements. I tried tons of crappy Epiphones and Squires made overseas and ended up buying Korean made PRS SE (Mikael Akerfeldt Signature) and Chinese made Hagstrom (D2F half-hollow). Both are excellent guitars and, in total, cost less than one, highly over-priced Fender or Gibson.
Pounds... And I couldn't find one for sale in the US. I found two in the UK, £749 and £725. Still looks like it is the most expensive in their line. I like the pickup setup.

The King's X riffing, starting at 1:44, was pretty awesome!

Very nice, but he didn't really concentrate quite enough on the pick up combinations! Sounds good tho!
Are these Chinese made?
***** For THAT price, I would say so!
Oh, are you 150 years old then? And according to my history studies ,there were no Chinese factions involved in the Civil War.
I'm 275 years old, a survivor of the Battle of Paterson when a NJ militia defeated 10,000 hardened ninjas from Ceylon
LOL!

Was that 800 pounds or dollars?

Purple Bricks
A lot of Hagstroms can't be found in the US, unfortunately. Which sucks because there's some really, really cool ones.

Wow man, nice guitar but, and i don't mean to hate, but seriously that playing SUCKED big time...
I could not agree more! The player should NEVER lay his hands on a guitar EVER again but the guitar is AWESOME!!!
Oh, I don't know about that. The King's X riffing, starting at 1:44, was pretty awesome!
