Thank you so much for posting another video.❤ Watching you paint is music to my soul. I remember watching William Alexander paint when I was a child and I was so engrossed that my mom got me a William Alexander painting kit for my birthday and I attempted to paint along with him because I wanted to be like him. I got so frustrated I never touched those paints again. I learned it wasn't important to emulate another being, but rather to allow my own light to shine through no matter what I was doing. Your light is brilliant and shines with every brush stroke. Thank you again for allowing me to witness it. ❤
Thank you, I have been watching a number of artist, but, I like your art and techniques best. I have been painting about four years and started really cheep. But, it sold. I have bumped it up a bit. I really like a realistic landscapes, practice makes better. And, you have given me lots of tips. I just watched your video on your paints and brushes. You asked about our space. I live in an RV, not much space, but it works for me. I live in the southwest next to red mountains. I struggle getting them right because they are so close. My husband also loves your art.
Its amazing the evolution that you have gone through the last few years I have been watching. I gives inspiration to people that with practice and patience you can reach goals that you thought were way out of reach. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I know I look forward to new videos. Thanks again.
such a good choice of colors and what a judicious choice of elements of the composition. Both sober and brilliant. Every gesture so delicately considered. The shades are wonderful and enhance each other to instill in us the intensity of pure emotion. The beauty and purity of nature expressed wordlessly through the soul of a passionate artist. This work, as wonderful as the others, has an indescribable plus in emotion. it is an honor for us to receive what is in you. These mountains are well placed and full of meaning here. Very very beautiful work, so perfectly done. thank you 🙏
Hi Chuck, I really like your style of art work. You said you are open to questions and I would like to know how you have accomplished to the level of realism that you are at. What one thing that brought you to the next level. Do you read books, do you have a mentor. Do you practice. I'd love to see a video on your progression. How you jumped to each new level and what got you there. Thanks for sharing your fantastic skills!
Já estava sentindo falta de suas habilidades e talento em suas belíssimas pinturas. Muito obrigada por esse privilégio. Deus abençoe sua vida grandemente ❤❤
Me in the beginning: :o Me after 10 minutes: 8O Me after 15 minutes: O_O Me after 25 minutes: O__________________O You're the man Chris. Please never forget that you continue to inspire people like me to not give up when it gets difficult because as you said... painters don't just magically know how to do this. It's a constant struggle. People only see the finished piece. But they don't see inside. Loved this one!
hello. I am a student who started oil painting for about 3 months. I ask this question after reading the article posted on the website. What oil should I use when blocking? I searched through numerous videos and articles, but couldn't find it. The two oils I have on hand are flaxseed oil and gamsol. (Please understand that I am not good at English, so I am using Google Translator)
I have only 30 minutes a day after day job do you suggest I could paint in oils during short time or better go with water based media daily? I have weekends about 3 HR though
Hi chuck Thanks for your RUclips channel. I benefit a lot from it and you are good You might want to take a look at The medieval miniature art. Consider, for example, the Limbourg brothers. Or other masters who are active Were in the late Middle Ages around AD 1400. I would really appreciate it if you wanted to make a video there. This concerns egg temepera on vellum. Have a nice day and hope to see a video soon. Thank you kindly

Is there a business I can contact to be sent some stuff to follow along
Very nice painting! But without voiceover, video is making us sleepy... Please, add some narrative in the future!
Or music that isn’t as boring as the music he usually puts in.
Hello Sir , I would really like to ask how do you keep calm while doing minute details? Is there any specific trick that tou can share? @chuckblack
It's just time and practice. I wondered the same until after years and years when it just got easier for me. Wish I had a trick
