When I was 18, I had the best instructor I could have ever had, his advice to me was "Always be prepared to stop, even if you have the right of way, even if you know for sure it's safe to go, always be prepared to stop." I'm now 28, a busdriver, and I haven't had a single accident thanks to his advice 😊 thank you Tony!
Great advice!!
That's impressive. Im 25 and while I've never been in an accident, I've had loads of near-misses (or near-hits as near-miss implies the wrong thing). I can't understand how people can spend so much time on the road and not get into an accident.
@@bakersmileyface The trick is to always expect the unexpected, even if things are looking alright, you can never be too sure
What a relief watching this after getting my license lol
It’s just a habit watching all these even tho I have my license
Same. I watch them all the time I really shouldn't because I get secondhand anxiety haha I only passed in May this year
i passed mine yesterday what a feeling
@@Saimon-px7ym well done it took me 6 attempts and I was so relieved when I did pass
Me too, I watched these before I got my license and I would always feel anxious, but now I’ve passed I’m so relaxed 😂
You've got some balls mate. Don't think any other instructor would let him do a mock test straight away...
He might have assumed that because India drives on the left too it would at-least be somewhat familiar.
Assumed wrongly, of course :p
Well he said i "drove before in india" so he likely tought he had sufficient knowledge regarding the driving rules.
Now with the looking in the mirror before signaling and routines like are not emphasized in onther countries, drivers in other countries thrust you are not going to cut them off like that.
@@benisprobablyangry239 He knew it would make great content 😅
@@benisprobablyangry239The unofficial rules in India are quite different to the UK.
Even though Samji hasn't had any lessons then, you gotta give credit where it's due. He was honest about how the test went and has done this mock test without doing any lessons. Not many instructors would have let Samji do a mock test without lessons.
Also his errors weren't technique, he has good control over the car he just has bad habits on what he does with it.
Passed today, 3rd try, your videos were really helpful. Good luck to anyone taking a test, remember if you fail don't get disheartened, just learn from what you did wrong and go again!
5:20 cheeky b*stard, thought he was telling us something dead important then slips in the ultimate driving course 🤣
Pin's life flashing before his eyes at every junction stop 😳
I passed my driving test with one minor fault (undue hesitation😄😄😄). My first test didn’t end well even though I took extra lessons and watched a lot of videos. Videos helped a lot❣️, but I believe one of the reasons why my first test didn’t work out was because no one clearly informed me of ALL THE POSSIBLE THINGS THAT COULD CAUSE AN INSTANT FAIL. Many leaners don’t know that the moment any car slows down for you while you’re joining the major road, that’s a fail regardless of how well you observed the mirrors, or that turning too close to the right is an instant fail. My advice: google all the possible scenarios that can lead to a fail and work on avoiding them. That helped me avoid major faults. I am glad to be done with all the lessons and nerve racks.
Well said. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely and many more indeed, thanks for sharing ❤
I was really scared for my test. But the examiner said the best thing to me before we set off, he said ‘don’t worry, I’m not going to make you do something that you haven’t done before!’
Passed my license 2years ago, your videos and the Ultimate driving course helped me an awful lot.Now I just keep coming back on here every now and then simply because I love your content.Keep up the good work!Once again, thank you 👍
I had lesson after lesson with an instructur and I felt like a really bad driver and I didnt really want to take anymore lessons. Then the summer came with vacation and my instructur having mc-lessons so I had to take a lesson with another instructor. After one time I learnd so much. She told me what I did wrong, why it was wrong, and what I should do and why. My old one only told me that I did wrong and nothing more. After I changed instructor I really felt like I was learning and it was fun and I had my drivers licens pretty fast beacuse I knew what I had to work on and how.
Passed first time with 5 minors the other day! These sort of videos helped out massively, so thankyou for that 🎉
Honestly people be should telling you how many driving lessons they've had prior to the mock test. It's probably good for the views/entertainment, but that's so scary stuff. I've started my first lessons yesterday and your course already helped me big time, even tho I've done like 10% of it!
Kind of unfortunate for him in the roundabout at 10:40 as the truck on his left was using the left hand lane to turn right 3rd exit and didn't even signal (which is not right to do). That's why he couldn't exit the roundabout in the left hand lane.
I had to watch five times to see what is a serious fault
watching these makes me understand why drivers in the US get into so many accidents. our tests are nothing like this, they last literally 5 minutes 😭
People in the UK get into so many accidents too when passing their test it would be a good idea to make people re take their driving tests every year to see how improved or dis improved their driving
@@James_Doyle83 absolutely not.
@@primigenial8207
Scared that yours would be taken away? 😂
@@ModelAirportDutchieNo, there is 41 million drivers in the U.K. and 9 million learners. Test centres are all ready massively backlogged with just learners, now imagine adding already qualified drivers. It isn’t possible.
@@James_Doyle83terrible suggestion.
You should definitely have a rear camera view on these videos ❤️
Well he knows how to control the car. He just isn't aware of all the road rules 😆
In India, the de facto road rules are very lax and really different.
Imagine what the examiners have to go through without dual controls and not knowing the person coming to the test
He might end the test and drive himself back to center.
If you think about it, instructors have it worse as they instruct people with zero experience upwards, examiners should be testing people with some experience at least.
I thought it would be a cool job to be an instructor, but they have so much crap to deal with just trying to stay alive, it makes it a lot harder.
10:55 didn’t really have much choice but to exit onto the right hand lane
I was gonna say that lol, the roundabout was pretty congested
You're allowed to do that
True, what's your point? Still shouldn't have merged back left without waiting for a safe gap.
Scared is an understatement. It looked like you saw your life flash before your eyes. 😂
Omg this channel is amazing, I've just found it today, thanks so much. Will be watching the uploads ASAP!
Thank you for watching the channel
Finally past my test got 2 minors, thank you for the videos they have helped so much. I’m sure I’ll still watch these!🥳
10:49 You can't get over? So you still wanted to turn left. The reality of driving is you can turn left from the island as you give way to the right 11:18. As soon as you enter the roundabout the slip road on the left must give way to you. The road markings might not say that but going ahead Is the primary route. That slip lane is there prevent the roundabout clogging up.
@@wumpty93 Who you talking to?
@@wumpty93 crack is a hell of a drug lol 😂
I'm not even from the UK, but I'm preparing for my driving test and these are super useful even if I drive on the right side of the road. Cheers
This is giving me flashbacks of the last taxi I got into 🤦🏻♀️🤣
I passed my test!!! 1 minor (hesitation), could not have done it without watching these videos religiously! Thank you so much!
The real test and learning starts after getting your driving licence !
With lessons he’ll get better and eventually pass his test….main thing is he didn’t crash the car or cause any serious danger to other drivers on the road.
Hope he gets better as we all started from nowhere once
Only because Pin was there though!
Yeah I think if he was unsupervised he would have been in a 3 car smash at that junction.
I guess that's what dual controls are for though
Unfortunately, Samji has not started from nowhere, he's started driving on UK roads with very bad habits, we know this because he already knows *how* a vehicle drives for example. I'm glad no accidents happened, but I think he needs to learn a lot about UK roads before attempting to take a test. He should be in a nursery area with a really good instructor.
I hope he learns soon :)
Passed second time with 4 minors last month! Wouldn't have passed without these videos tbh
Interesting episode. Wishing him luck with his driving journey.
I’m a fast driver don’t speed but get to the limit quick but I always have respect for learner drivers and don’t get up there bumper as we all gotta start somewhere.
You can tell he knows how to drive, he just needs to learn the rules of driving in the UK.
He was driving how they do in India, which it is a free for all, as can be seen in Clearview's videos in India with her relative.
OMG and he was driving in the UK without a instructor 😱
Yes you look scared😨, your so happy that you have dual controle 😇.
Passed first time today massive thanks for these videos helped me out so much 🙌
Samji and Pin Binning thank-you for this video. It was helpful and informative
Samji thank-you for having the courage to allow us to see your driving even though you seemed aware that you have alot of work
to do.
I failed my first driving test a year ago at a roundabout and only just got back the confidence and time to re-book for a second attempt.
Don't worry Samji, God sends his angels to help people like you and me ........ and you were sitting next to one of God's Angels in this video.
Best of luck Samji.
And thank-you Pin Binning
Watched quite a few of your mock videos. My instructor kept saying I wasn't ready despite being a very confident driver, I had never done a mock test and I passed in September first time round with only 4 faults, 2 of which was on purpose (undue hesitation) because I was being super careful when giving way to oncoming traffic
Am going to say it as I think it needs to be said. Who thinks they can come and live in the Uk and not have any sort of driving lessons and then think their going to past their test? This is why accidents happen. I really thought pin was going to have a heart attack at some points. Please have some lessons and learn the rules of the roads. Good luck.
So happy to see more uploads again😁
12:03 I think he mistakenly go for the wiper stalk instead of signal (as some car in India have the turn signal other way around)
12:06 He didn't forget to signal. Pressed the wrong lever. We have signals on right of the steering
I have my test in 1 month. This video definitely made me feel better for my driving. Good luck to anyone have a test coming!
Just wondered about hand position on steering wheel ? Good luck with future lessons. Thanks for sharing.
Anyone else wondering if Pin will be getting a speeding fine after this driver went past a Speed Camera in a 30 zone at 35mph? 😅
he told him to slow down before the lines on the road, but even if he didn’t the driver gets the ticket for speeding not the owner
@@riyad9275 Pin still gets the fine first 😜
@@gavin1411 no he’ll just get a letter (NIP) requiring him to give the details of the driver at the time etc. then that driver gets the fine
It would've been 35 on the speedo, in reality thats 31-33. West mids gives 10% +2 on their cameras
@@riyad9275 I'm not sure that is correct. As the instructor, Pin is responsible for the driver.
In India this driving is called pushing technique, really I don't blame him
Passed with 1 Minor and watching these videos was.very helpful.
8:42 i laughed a little when i saw how he holds the steering
I think it’s hard coming from one country to this with driving he clearly knows and learnt well. Just needs a few lessons and he’ll pass for sure
the key aspect is not being able to drive. the key aspect is knowing the rules and what to do in each situation in which he lacks knowledge. He just needs to learn the rules
Awesome! two in a row! Missed ya pin! Youre doing great work!
Passed my test today 😊 your videos real helped me
surprised some of these weren’t marked as dangerous
Serious is dangerous
You have balls of steel , I would not be able to cope , I would be hitting the whiskey daily
Just passed my Test on 2nd attempt. Your Videos have been really helpful...
7:31 I’ve never seen Pin fearing for his life like that 😂😂
As if someone being brainwashed enough to think a surgical mask is going to make a blind bit of difference to transmission of covid 1984 wasn't scary enough 🤣

@@TaxingIsThieving ' 2 weeks to slow the spread' morphed into 've need a great resett'
@@toms5161It does help some, though N95, KN95 and the like are much better.
@@toms5161The “Great Reset” is sort of a conspiracy video, whereby something one guy said was taken way out of context. The WEF is too tied to the CCP, but it doesn’t actually want to abolish private ownership. That was something he said very hyperbolically in his prediction that the likes of Uber, AirBnB, PadSplit, etc would reduce the need for ownership.
I'm impressed that he wasn't trash like some other drivers that have been here and had more experience
he can drive he just needs to learn these rules
That was my situation when I failed twice. Really need to master every single major rules
I would 100% fail a British driving test.
1. I can't drive stick
2. I would crash in any roundabout with more than 1 Lane
3. I wouldn't dare attempt to reverse into a parking spot
You can do automatic test instead of manual 😊 What maneuvers do you do for your test?
your face when the car touches the kerb gets me every time lol
Wow what can I say your a brave man getting in the car with him and some of the other people you give mock tests to. And especially this one I bet you had to change your pants when you got home lol
Some countries teach "Signal, Mirror, Over Shoulder" Go instead of "Mirror Signal Maneuver".
I know each drive to their own, but the way he used the steering wheel was starting to grind my gears!
Most white thing someone can say
You had him in the right position for the reverse he's an intelligent guy I'm sure he realised this,, now for a guy with no lessons under his belt and on my opinion he hasn't driven before he's body language told me this,, he did quite darn well,,🎀
he seems so sweet, I always feel so bad for learner drivers -- which is weird as I am one ahahh. I hope that he managed to improve quickly :))
I think there were some junctions he didn’t need to completely stop on he literally stopped at every single junction. And my instructor would kick my ass if she saw me holding the steering wheel like that 😂
7:42 you can see his soul going in-and-out of his body in a second. Great content bro, keep up the good work! Ps: Safe drivings Lol
Still better than the 45 serious faults video
8:22 “SPEEED”
Congrats pin England won the t20World Cup❤❤🎉🎉
As soon as you see the bloke in a mask you know it's gonna be a mad one.
😂😂😂
Fr who still wears those lol
Driving in India is obviously a lot different to here.
Ngl, I think going forward Pin should ask people how many hours they've done before he says they can do a mock test. They should at least have done 15-20 hours.
There's been a run of dangerous drivers on this channel and it actually scares me watching these videos where these learner drivers really don't know what they're doing. Big difference between making a mistake and not knowing what the fuck you're actually doing.
It's actually bothering me quite a bit 😴
My man failed in the first minute
You looked fed up and really scared 😂
He already knows how to drive.he just need to follow the road rules
You are brave. I passed a week ago first time and just got my car few days ago and I'm really nervous and anxious driving. Sat in sainburys car park for half an hour crying my eyes out. Anyone got any tips to stop feeling this way
I’d say to practice smaller trips while you get used to driving on your own. It’s stressful going out on your own to start with
No offence but I hope you don't wet yourself because the funniest story I have ever heard was somebody wetting themselves anytime they got behind the wheel.
@@peaceprosperity3951 nope I'm not at that stage yet. Lol
@@Jack66527 yes it was so stressful the thought of going in the car absolutely filled me with terror just as you said I've done small journeys and today I've been all over and I'm enjoying it. Thanks 😊
I drove on my own for the first time today after getting my license on Friday!!
And I messed up!!! But you know what? That's okay!!!
What was supposed to be an easy 3 minute drive down to the shops turned into 3 hours and calling my friend to come rescue me because of a speeding truck who blocked me from my turn lane, leading to me ending up being forced to continue onto a nearby highway and keep driving as I couldn't for the life of me find an exit to take so I could park my car somewhere and reroute my GPS. Yeah, it was terrifying. It was my very first drive on my own and was going so well until the very last minute. And it was also out of my control - in these situations, all you can do is make sure YOU are doing the right thing, keeping the car steady and at a smooth pace. I could've freaked out, made an unsafe move, clung to the "I need to get to the shops now oh no I'm off course *panic*" but I didn't. Yeah, I spent a lot longer outside and was a bit scared, but I did the right thing and drove my car safely and I made it home in one piece eventually.
My friend came down to find me and sit in the car with me while I just drove around and familiarised myself with the area. It helped calm me a lot and remind me I passed my test for a reason and it's not because I had someone sitting next to me.
I dropped my friend back at their car, managed to get to the shops, and then drive back to my apartment okay and in one piece, and was a lot more relaxed this time.
Half of driving is confidence: when you're panicked, you make silly mistakes and forget stuff. Try to keep a clear head and remember all your road rules and manoeuvres. Drive somewhere you know well for your first solo drive and always have someone you can call if you feel like you're going to have a panic attack. I live in a different city from my parents and I got all my practice hours and sat my test in the town they live in, so I wasn't able to follow the last two suggestions and that caused me a bit of chaos. I was lucky my friend was free at the time haha.
Anyways, one of the worst case scenarios happened to me on my first drive, and I promise you yours will go a lot smoother than mine. You can't control other people, but you can put faith in your own skills and do your best, especially in your early days of solo driving.
Is there a possibility that u can mount a camera in the rear windshield that covers behind the vehicle?
04:08 The graffiti on the wall is quite funny considering 😂😅
He is definitely an experienced driver with Indian license.
Experienced people do these kind of dangerous faults. They think they can pass without any lessons.
When 🧒 you driving 🚘 first time ⌚ I thank is very easy
Very important video 📹 thank you
Sanja clearly forgot to do the needful
His driving reminds me of Haryana Roadways buses here in India 😂You'll literally hold on to your seat tightly with bated breath. Hell of a joyride! 😂
Wait ! You guys have GPS during test ??
I had to remember all the road
If he's from India I can understand the way he drives.
At the bilston roundabout the learner couldn't safely exit the left lane due to the van so he took the right lane instead. Should he have just went round again until it was safe to do so, or just accept that he's gone the wrong way and carry on in the right lane?
The latter option, accepting you went the wrong way, is the preferred option on UK driving tests.
This was a rollercoaster ride 😳
Passed on Monday after my third attempt with 3 minors now wondering whether to do the pass plus course 🤔
Did you get a speeding ticket at 8:30 ?
Terrifying to watch - a few lessons in order for this chap ;) but we all gotta start somewhere. Took me 4 times to pass but finally got there early this year. Then you really begin to learn when out on the road on your own.Good video cheers.
I'm American, I have a license, pretty good driver, I just watch these because my next car is going to be manual.
Very scary driving the driver took a risk to do this mock test 😢 good luck for the lessons first
Love video
As an American driver is there a necessity to signal during roundabouts in the uk. Here it is genuinely frowned upon due to it confusing those who might be entering the round about also we do use the left lane as a passing lane on a two lane road but you are allowed to stay in it for normal driving purposes it’s always expected that you don’t drive in blind spots and the uk seems a lot more chill with the concept of overtaking especially with cars parallel parked. I’m also surprised that parallel parking takes the people within these cars so long here you will get honked at incessantly if you took that long
As for the last part ik they are beginning but still
This one was very interesting to watch haha.
Pretty much all the Indian drivers I had are driving like this or much much worse.
And they come with an absurd confidence that they are test ready and the test is a joke. And they come with a test booked like in 2 weeks and keep bothering you about the test.
So, just to clarify, at 10:34 he was in the correct lane on approach, but should have moved into the left lane after the second exit, before leaving the roundabout? Exactly what the car in front of him did.
In which case that TCHire van was in the incorrect lane on approach, as that lane is only for going left or straight ahead?
Dayum that Indian accent is so strong and fresh
As a learner myself, I have a question. Pin said he should have exited roundabout in left lane and not right. However, the left lane was full of traffic. I assumed (incorrectly) that in this situation you'd exit in right lane and then indicate to move left. What is the correct way to proceed?
I think if you're already in the right lane then exit in right lane, otherwise stay in the left lane throughout.
I did my first ever lesson my driver instructor ask me again if I drive before ever I said no he was surprised
Would you please mentioned which portable satnav you using for this test on your dashboard ???
He really needs to take a few steps back and take proper lessons in the UK. Entire video was giving me anxiety.
"the man in the shop strongly recommends this product" xD
Pins face at every junction 🤣😂🤣
