tI passed my test first time yesterday with just two minors. Thanks so much for these videos and the ultimate driving course was so helpful. Your doing more to clear the test backlog than the DVSA ahaha
Guys, I literally had a 6 month break from driving and I just picked it back up again 3 weeks ago, going out with my mum because my instructor was so booked up. I was so anxious I nearly threw up, my anxiety was unbearable. Well it turns out I was making it so much bigger in my head as I just passed first time, 2 minors, and I was SO close to giving up. If you are seeing this, DONT GIVE UP, this is your sign and you can do this! Your future self is thanking you right now!
I know everyone says this, but it actually does feel dead weird to be part of the group saying "I've already passed but still watch these videos"😂😂Passed last week first time!
Congratulations. Don't forget that the first thing is to pass your test. The next thing is to actually learn to drive. That's something that happens all the time you're driving. I'm still learning 40 years later!!! Besides - they keep changing the rules so keep your Highway Code knowledge up to date too. For example, if I'd parked on the right hand side I'd have failed my test. Have fun and stay safe.
Cheers Pin, bought your course, watched your vids and I just passed with 0 minors! A lot of people try and plug stuff out there but you sir know your shit and explain things so simply! Much appreciated for your content, keep it up!
Half the problems related to the stalling is probably down to the chunky trainers, it’s hard to feel the biting point when your feet aren’t actually on the pedals - instead it’s the bubbles on her shoes.
I can relate but it's trying to drive in my steel toecap shoes. The weight of the shoe causes me to over rev sometimes when setting off, so now i've started taking my trainers to work and change when i get there.
@@rufusgreenleaf2466 yeah that’s understandable mate, it’s the same concept really because you don’t have full control over the amount of weight you’re applying to the pedals. Bringing trainers is a smart move 👍
I know you focus on learner drivers, but would you consider doing some videos on how to drive on a motorway? Like maybe for people who have recently passed and are driving alone for the first time.
I know the learners are aware it is going to happen and sign up for it but a lot of them or all will be even more nervous due to knowing they are going on your youtube plus driving a new car and meeting you in person. Props to them for putting themselves in that position lol.
I passed first time on Monday in London Hendon, and can't thank DGN Driving School enough. I binged watched your videos for two weeks before my exam and learned more watching these videos then I did in my practical lessons. Can't thank you enough. Continue the great work.
passed my test on Wednesday at Anniesland with 2 minors. Thank you for this great content, really helped me a lot. Would highly recommend the ultimate driving course to anyone who is unsure on anything with their test coming up.
When you talk about the series or minor faults at the end, can you please show scenes when it happens, while your talking so it can remind us when the mistake took place.
These videos are easing me into UK traffic as a European. I did drive my EU van through the UK a couple of times but the lack of vision and being on the "wrong" side of the car made it really hard. Luckily people were understanding and avoided my blind spots as opposed to everyday traffic in my hometown. I will soon be renting an English car and feeling a lot more confident driving it.
Bloody hell Pin you twisted that a bit, you asked how many serious faults she was gonna make and like everyone would she said 0 as she’s not gonna go into a test thinking she’s gonna fail😅
Another good mock test video Pin. Wish Erika good luck for her driving test. I'd like to ask, please can we get a video of Taz and her car driving maybe soon? Let me know please👍
I just have been driving my aunt's old Aygo, and for some reason I kept stalling it alle the time. I have had my license for like 4 years, and stalled very few times since. It was a weird experience, stalling multiple times after each other, sure been a long time since I did that last time xD. I think it might be a little more sensitive than I'm used to, since it's an old petrolcar aha.
No end of learners search for the bite while having the other foot on the brake which is wrong. Their worry is premature or unexpected forward movement of the car. The response to the latter is to dip the clutch back down to prevent a stall and stop the movement. The right foot needs to be providing enough gas and therefore power to move the car which is a greater amount where an uphill start is being attempted.
Yes, she routinely tries to find the bite with her other foot pressing the brake pedal. This will tend to end up bad most of the time and typically at crucial locations..
Watching these from Australia, got my mock test tomorrow and actual test on Friday. Still doubting myself even though my instructor told me I'm ready, but I'm hoping the mock test helps me!
did my first lesson Friday and can relate to her, I stalled a few times during it but even then it was fun actually being out and about, despite my jittery and stalling mature during the drive.
I randomly booked my test, told my instructor a week to the test date that I had a test he was shocked and kept on saying your not ready this that , went and done the test got 4 minors # luck is real
she did alright considering, i feel when you don't have full control over the clutch it just makes driving difficult in general especially when learning, in regards to the no signal on the roundabout, if it was a 30mph area it wouldn't be as bad but because the cars approach the roundabout quicker which is also helped by the clearer view from that side when you don't signal they'll just think your going straight on so i don't personally think its harsh to fail on that as it could easily cause an accident. i see it nearly everyday people not signalling onto roundabouts but signal off roundabouts, you can just never guess where people are going because of no signals, or even worse leaving one on
18:40 "some of you think this may be harsh" well i mean she failed anyway for passing 0 serious faults and 15 regular faults so it doesnt even matter at that point lol.
I don’t know how people can stay so quiet during a driving test 😂 I didn’t shut up throughout mine! Can’t remember what I was talking about but I remember the examiner had to tell me to stop talking a min cause she needed to give me a direction 🙈🤭
Today I was out doing assisted driving and as I came to a left turn, a van came out. It was an extremely tight and narrow turn and I went at it in second gear. As I got there I realised the gap wouldn't be big enough and so I emergency braked which caused the car to stall. My dad straight after said "you're not ready for your test at all". But for the rest of the time I had outside, I drove perfectly well. Keeping to my lanes. Looking at signs. Keeping clear of potential hazards. It was the first time I'd stalled in a long time.
