Hi again. Do you use Neopastel or neocolor ? I want to try the Caran d'Ache products, but between the neopastel, the neocolor I, the neocolor II, i'm a bit lots. Thanks in advance.

And you use bristol on all the video i saw, i would be difficult to have similar result on texture paper like i use for graphite and charcoal ? Thanks a lot for your advice !
I didn’t try texture paper you are mentioned so I can’t recommend about that. I started with cheapest but it’s up to you how much do you will to spend for your art.. or how free budget do you have. Remember it’s very good quality pastels of carandache.. but you have a better products for neocolor 2, all other pastels by carandache are very good quality pigments.. good luck 👍
For this art I was using “carandache” wax pastel - “neocolor 1” and for smudging I was using a cloth cotton on dry it’s a smooth cloth with hi density.. hope it helps

no problem. for this cubism art i was using caran d'ache classic - neocolor that comes with 15 colors and it's pastel colors and i made this art on a4 bristol. good luck..
From a rank beginner's pov, I have no idea WHY the artist is doing any of the individual steps, or how he knows what to do. For me to get anything out of a video like this, I need a lot of explanation. :-)

I tried to to it but it did not work. What did you use on the fabric to loosen the pastels pls?
I guess you are using crayons on sheet? Correct me if I'm wrong. Also, can I use it on canvas?
I was using “carandache - neocolor 1” it’s wax pastel based oil, it not so well with canvas, best suited for Bristol or simple paper

I’m using all these 3 products.. for this art I was using neocolor 1 and it comes with set of 15 pigments and set of 30
