I really wish Kia would include a second row bench seat in their hybrid and plug in hybrid. It’s a big reason I’m not seriously looking at these vehicles.
I'm starting to notice that I'm liking Kia more than Hyundai. Honestly it looks like Hyundai is pushing kia and genesis better then their name brand. Even on the roads I'm seeing kia not Hyundai. If i couldn't get genesis I'd go kia. Awesome video
I think the Kia cars are more sporty. Hyundai is seeming to be more luxurious looking with Genesis being like the classy version of that. So maybe they need Hyundai to go a bit different route

I'm usually not with the car long enough to determine what's a pro or con. I don't have ownership experience so those come with time actually owning the vehicle! Overall though the Kia Sorento is a nice SUV! We did have one for one week and it was great! It has a lot of nice tech as well!
i'm currently building one for myself. be aware that all of the Hybrid/ plug-in hybrids do not come with Genuine Leather Seats. they're synthetic. most people won't care, but some might take it as a deal breaker. Their more "off road" X-Line models have Genuine leather but those are gas only.
Yeah most new cars these don't don't have real leather. Even BMW, Audi and other luxury brands come with synthetic leather until you pay for a $5k interior upgrade

Does it stay in gear when using the paddles? On the Kia Niro you can. Shift into a gear and it won't downshift when flooring it. Helps to keep rpms low.
For the most part it lets you have the control. It might downshift slowly if your coming up to a stop. But if you floor it, it'll stay in the gear its in

@@MrCarpediem6 Maybe it's different here in the US but what the dealer told you is just not true. They're definitely trying to upsell you on the much more expensive plug-in hybrid. Take a look at Kia's 2022 Sorento brochure (cdn.dealereprocess.org/cdn/brochures/kia/2022-sorento.pdf) and take a look at the last few pages where they list all options and what trims can have what features added. You'll see that the Hybrid EX CAN have the Panoramic sunroof added. I also just ordered a 2022 Sorento Hybrid EX with the pano sunroof package. Tell your dealer to stop lying to you and find yourself a more honest one! EDIT: Just saw your comment is 6 months old. Hope you got it all sorted out!

Both, claim, that in Canada, at least - the pano was only a phev option, for now, that was in the last model year. In the new model year, the dealer is saying the sunroof is now offered, with the hybrid, unfortunately - they are not taking any new orders, because of the backlog lol. :)
Seems like owners really like those too for a full sized family SUV. Some friends of ours are thinking of trading in a Sportage for the Telluride. Great cars a good prices!

If you go on the Kia website, they clearly lay out all of the different features that each trim level offers. This would be the best option for you to find out which trim would be the best for your personal needs.

The metric system isn’t commonly used in the US, we use inches which is why I say those measurements.

Yes this is a Hybrid as stated in the title, description and video. The Sorento isn't necessarily a better vehicle then the Sportage. It's just bigger

EX has leatherette seats. It’s not real leather. Also, 30 miles range applies only to PHEV.
