Hello my friends this is a video I filmed before leaving on my trip. As you can tell from the thumbnail it’s a bit tongue in cheek. The short of it if you have not seen my community post I am sorry about the confusion and issues I’ve had with sourcing base images to use for some thumbnails. It has happened repeatedly before. I’m changing how things are being done and getting a dedicated editor to make thumbnails so I don’t run into a similar issue because of my own impatience and negligence. To clarify that last statement, the Hungary video was not anyone else’s fault. No editor to blame. It was my own and I’m sorry for that. I’ll make sure nothing like it happens again
@@RNKel1 Plus it's not like there are that many options one could choose for making a thumbnail about a title that is basically just "Map Painting: The game".

Hey, you know there is a shared focus tree when you do that path, that when you finish it you will be able to integrate your puppets much quicker, and your puppets can also do the focuses on this focus tree making it much quicker to finish it
Going down the puppet/faction path opens up a shared focus tree that you would've had to scroll down to see. Focuses in it can be completed either by you or any of your 'Austro-Hungarian vassal' puppets, and it leads toward integrating them all much more quickly and easily.
What if at the start of the Siberian intervention, Japan finds Alexei Romanov and makes him a puppet ruler of Siberia to justify their ongoing “intervention”? Yes Alexei Romanov is assassinated in July and the intervention starts in August, so either move the intervention forward a couple of months, or have the Czechoslovak Legion rescue Alexei and bring him to the Japanese. Either way, Japan should remain in Siberia after October 1922, with enough legitimacy so that America doesn't embargo Japan or force Japan's withdrawal, & Japan can pay for the “intervention” with Siberian gold/iron/gems/fur. Or, alternatively, one of his sisters, Grand Duchesses Olga, Tatiana, Maria, or Anastasia, survives and is married into the Japanese royal family giving Japan a claim over all of Russia.
If i had a nickel for every time Stakuyi missed a major part of a focus tree which made the path actually work, I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but its funny it happened twice. (Federal Ethiopia is the first one)
Fun fact: Austrian left-sided branch from monarchy actually does make you gain almost every single state from Austria-Hungary Empire as a core. And all that in diplomatic way!
When you demanded that they vassalize the other option was to demand they submit to annexation. I did that route and flattened Germany when they demanded the Sudetenland. I joined the Allies to get them preoccupied on the Maginot while I flooded into German from the south.
Despite the focus names, the choice between Subjugation and Annexing your old lands is BOTH diplomaticly possible. Its just between puppeting/annexing the land. Either CAN be war or peace.
I think doing a run with historical ai off while trying to do the historical analysis of your alt-history videos could be fun. Trying to figure out the logical justification on the spot.
What if Germany had focused more on submarines earlier. Apparently Moustache man didn't put alot of effort into research and production of them. I've heard that if he had alot more U-boats at the beginning of the war, and kept increasing production of them, it may have changed the outcome. If the UK didn't have anything getting through, that means they'd have less fighters to defend during the Battle of britain, less bombers etc.
My question: What would've happened if the entire world decided that Germany was a threat in 1937 and declared war on it? Setup: At a New Years Eve party, a drunken funny mustache man shared his dream of conquering the world (Surely this will all blow over). Three days later, a conference was called, and Germany's ambassador was not invited (Nie gut!). Not long after... I think you get the drift. Anyways, what do you think of trying out the Apocalypse 1937 mod?
All of your issues with this path are solved by the GIANT shared focus tree you somehow didn't see. After peacefully puppeting Hungary, you and your puppets gain access to a quite powerful shared Austro Hungarian focus tree (it's below the austrian one on the focus screen) which give a LOAD of buffs alongside easy annexation and integration.
The one you are calling the Not peaceful side, is also kinda peaceful. You spend PP to influence the other states and then demand anexations which like the one you had, you just directly annex them into a singular Austrian Empire. instead of becoming your puppets
no offense but you're not keeping in mind that you can integrate puppets through the puppet menu, which is why the focus 'a thousand year federation' absolutely nukes the autonomy of all puppets that get access to the focus tree! While yes it could be direct and the formable should probably allow you to click it if the needed area is held by puppets. You are kinda forgetting an important fact, over all in terms of whats better the puppeting path I personally believe is better. Yes it takes longer to form austria-hungary but it has the native idea of you slowly integrating your puppets, while they and you can take focusses in the joint-focus tree to make the over all empire stronger. Generally you idealy never want your puppets to be in the same wars as you, this is true for everyone. unless you plan to make offensives from their territory. makes integrating harder, and the a.i doesn't really make good divisions. ever. yoinking their troops to fill out your armies and act as buffers is a good idea though, while yes they will still gain autonomy. its less than when they are actively fighting. Also typically you should try to annex your puppet quickly if they can be yoinked by other nation's focusses. saves headaches because the often means to do it don't ask the player or give them an option to refuse. same with territorial demands, you might get romania as a puppet. but that doesn't stop romania from giving their land to the soviets. over all good video, found the thumbnail funny. But I wanted to mention this even if its. well. not necessary. keep up the good content and have fun traveling!

But this is at a cost of not really taking much of your economic focusses / military focusses. And is also in mind that you take the diplomatic option for getting Tirol (basically giving italy 2 civs for the land. which has a single civ. so it costs 1 civ really.) you do raise a valid point and I dont mean to belittle the problems you've had. Because they are valid. I guess I probably should've addressed some factors that probably could've help avoid the issue at hand.
1:38 I thought you were teacher Ryan. I’m a Mongolian student and we had an American teacher called Ryan teaching us at one point.(I thought you went to Mongolia not going to Mongolia.)And he looks a lot like you.
