- Police said they believe at least five people, all adults, assaulted a 29-year-old man in Government Square in downtown Cincinnati. His family said they are not happy with how police handled the assault.
That must have been so frightening. I’m so sorry. I hope you get justice and compensation. Perfect healing.

I live in Northwest Ohio and love driving 3 hours to Cincinnati and don't like hearing things like this about the city. Put up camera's that work more polices and when you see a group just hanging out call the police. I'm sorry for what happened to that young man.

That's a shame visiting Cincinnati I had no problems yet but cops need to step it up with safety.
I think there needs to be a larger police presence, but I'm sure they feel like why arrest them when the Hamilton Co. prosecutors and judges just end up letting them go with barely a slap on the wrist, if even that. This falls squarely on the democratic policies that look out for the criminal rather than the victims.

Im downtown every weekend with my wife & daughter & I carry for this exact reason. Downtown is nice but of course you have wild hyenas with no guidance running around so you gotta keep your head on a swivel and have some protection at all times

CPD has been rather lackadaisical in doing their jobs. Yes their are st least 2 to 3 there. They often hide in the metro booth. Eating. Playing on their phones. Or lean against a wall playing on their phones
