If you're walking a road with obstacles and you can't jump over them, try walking around them
Thanks for sharing this as good to get to know others with different conditions. They won't know until they go through it themselves and experience something similar. Not all disability is visible. You're an amazing young woman. Let's hope we create a better understanding and awareness through it all. 😊🌷👏
I struggle with work at the moment, I work in social care, and unfortunately I work with a lot of people who are local to the area, so most staff are more into gossip, either work bassed or local, Im forever cleaning up after everyone and some of the staff are very... Attention seeking or spreading rumours, but I got a second interview at a special needs schools as an LSA, its my dream job and I can't wait to move away
I love your videos so much, they help me a lot! I learn how to cope with my own disability and also understand more about other kinds of invisible ones. Thank you! P.S: I really would like to know what video editor you use.
Hi, I love your videos and how they are about disabilities, as well as specific learning difficulties/disabilities. I am Dyspraxia and Dyslexia, I have researched both multiple times, however, because Dyspraxia and Dyslexia are the umbrella term of brother and sister. That they are similar. If I ever find myself in a situation where I need to know the differences between them, I do not think I would be able to do so. if you were to take this as video suggestion or something to answer in a Q & A and answer it verbally, I think it would be easier for me to understand. Also, you know how there different types of a difficulty/disability. I am aware that I am an adaptive Dyspraxia with cognitive and ordinary Dyspraxia, I am not entirely sure what these are, I have tried researching them with not much information back. if you were to clear this up to, it would fab. Thank you, you have given me so much insight on my own and other disabilities and I have been able to somewhat relate to you. You have also helped me become more confident about my difficulties and to ask questions and to research and find my own answers.
Hi, i have dyspraxia and fibromyalgia. I thought i was in the only one. Could you possibly do a video about how fibro and dyspraxia react with eachother? I feel it does interact with eachother and would like to hear your thoughts on this. And how did you handle fibro in uni? I am really struggling at the moment.
Great video suggestion!! I reccomend writing up yourself a weekly time table at the beginning of the week, everything you want to achieve and by when. Keeps on tasks for when you are feeling tired and weak, and in pain. lot's of stretching and so on!
My name is Tommy I'm 20 I have dyspraxia and possibly other things lol I work in spar I sometimes mess up I hate doing it I get angry ugh driving is not to bad I've had people shout to when they know I have a disability I'm sorry about that I understand it's tough sometime I really would love to meet you
Hello my name is Michaela Mooney i have dyspraxia and asd autistic spectrum disorder and i was diagnosed at the age of 4 along with this i have trouble tracking with my eyes and sensory processing disorder which means i cant feel hot temperature, needles and some painhave accidents everyday and really struggle with motor skills such as handwriting, cutting my food, etc i have lots of issues which cause me anxieties i admire your videos and i do make some videos myself on here but they are not that popular
I am very much the same Michaela, I often poke myself the face when I'm eating!! I think most of us have anxiety because of our difficulties. You are not alone! x
hey, KBS, interesting concept. I have to say i think disabled creators need to band together more and do more to ensure their channels cross over. for example, my travel channel has an accessibility slant and appeals to disabled and able people who enjoy visiting places and is a small 1,200 subscribers. My social discussion channel, Talkin Really, is about subjects appealing to disabled audiences and only has 70 subscribers. One thing i think we should do is support each other by suggesting our audiences visit other channels, durh as in this video! Only Jessica has a really large subscriber base, but why is that? BTW I saw you and Jessica at the YT show last august, and I met Jenna Kearns in the audience. My last point is disabled creators need to take subscriber comments more seriously (yes I am subbed to you), and reply to all of them. I''ve sent messages and left comments on disabled creators channels only to get no response. I am adamant on my channel that I answer every message and comment. Anyway, just my five eggs.
Growing your channel isn't just about uploading videos and hoping people find them by chance, It's about knowing where your audience is marketing your channel there. Utilising youtube's tools to increase your SEO is Key, using good custom thumbnails. Sharing content through video's is great, but it has to match your channels brand and video flow. Twitter is a great way to share other creators through the likes of #FollowFriday In terms of answering all comments, I do my best with what I have, I work a full time job and have to make sure my free time is spent on me and not just my channel. Because that's not healthy. Having a balance can be difficult, especially with having disabilities.
