That's a great idea about the dollies, thanks for the tip. I've got a 4025 Mahindra and its great for my use. My slasher as we call them in Australia . has chains so it can pivot without affecting the tractor. Good video mate, thanks
Got a 2555. Named her Mindy. Great tutorial for the brush hog attachment.
Thanks Pete, been watching your videos awhile now and learn a lot from them. Bought a Mahindra 1626 the other day and have a lot to learn from you and others. Keep up the good work!
Awesome thank you 👍
Very informative, this is going straight into my playlist for future reference. Thank you.
Best wishes
Pete.
Thank you 👍
Last video I saw you said the left side should be connected first. I noticed in this one you hooked the right side first. Is there a real difference?
Great clear informative, much better than others I have watched. Thank you.
Awesome, thank you!
Well done. Thanks!
Hello. Good video. Question: is that 3rd/4th gear low when mowing?
Yes, I always mow in low gear in 3rd or 4th gear. Of course it's going to depend on your tractor but sometimes you can mow in high gear and the transmission in 1st gear but you might be moving too fast.
@@petebeasttexashomesteading Ok Thanks!
That looks like fun.
👍
Good information. I am buying a new schedder
No concrete floor here so no pushing heavy implements on dollies into position behind the tractor. And no level ground either. I use a quick hitch with my rear mounted implements.
👍
U have to sharpen the blades.. good video.
👍
GOOD VIDEO. HOW OFTEN DO YOU MOW YOUR PASTURES?
Thanks, I mow it about two or three times a year depending on how much rain we get.
I watched your video on the renegade weed eater blade. Bought it and the kit and love it. Cuts right through the thick stuff. Thanks again
@@okskeeter278 Awesome 👍
Hey Pete how is that mahindra treating you? i am in the market for a new tractor but I keep hearing horror stories about service, parts, and just problems in general. I am hoping it is just operator error because Mahindra is number one on my list. Thanks
I've owned two Mahindra tractors and I've never had a problem with them. You get a lot of tractor for the money. A comparable Kabota or deere will run $15,000 more and they are not as heavy duty as the Mahindra. Also a tractor is only as good as the dealer is, so make sure it's a good dealer that will service it if and when needed.
Sheep would do a great job on your farm and you would still have a nice barbecue.

Seems like I'd want my blades at four inches, not the bottom of the mower housing at four inches. I think you're cutting your grass at 6 or 7 inches the way you are measuring. Snaky height. :-)
I guess the sign tells us everything we need to know.
