It never ceases to amaze me how the reviesers go over all o these benhmarks that the average person does not care or do not know what they mean in the first place. just want to know if the laptop dose its job reasonaly smoothly without a lot of lags and stutterss, and does not burn the hell out of you or burst you eardrums with fan noise and a dcent battery life. Going over all of these centibench or whatever only means something to the most tech savy, which is not the average person. There are only a few reviewer that get straight to the point and stop wasitng everybody's time just to be on youtube and try to compete
02:59 3DMark Graphics Scores: 1. Steel Nomad = 482 This going to be most relevant, native and also closest to real (PC) games compared to other benchmarks, around 20% slower than current top competitors (AMD/Intel iGPU). 2. Time Spy = 1720 Also usually useful to check PC games performance, but this is emulated for ARM, so in reality only useful to determine worst case performance when playing non-ARM native games, scored nearly half of top iGPU competitors. 3. Wild Life = 19574 Native but quite irrelevant to PC games because relies heavily with floating point compute performance, interestingly this score is similar to Adreno 750 mobile, meanwhile Wild Life Extreme in X Elite is around 20% faster not sure why. 4. Night Raid = 26366 Similar case to Wild Life but using older engine and stuff, much lighter. Thanks for the review btw, been looking for Steel Nomad performance for this device.
I have tried Davinci Resolve with 6K content and while it's not perfect you are still able to render at decent speeds. The playback is great but the timeline feels a little slow when you are just moving and cutting clips sometimes, but definitely it's something you are able to do for sure, you just need to download the Davinci Resolve ARM version. If you are grabbing a snapdragon x elite for editing I would recommend getting the 32gb ram version. Let me know what software you want me to test out?
@@htpoint Thanks. I was hoping to hear about Davinci Resolve first. Would have liked to order the 32gb version, but cash is limited. Sounds like Adobe Premiere and Audition still aren't ready for the Snapdragon X elite hurricane. If u get a super doctored arm version in advance from them. Plz let us knw your results. Of course we know that Final Cut will never release a version for Snapdragon X Elite. So it goes, the Orange Silicon Valley Empire! 😎😎
@@htpointsame question. Any budget, really. Primarily for work. Word docs, excel and writing. Nothing crazy. I bought the MacBook Air and find it hard to use, altho I love the keyboard. Previously had the Asus zenbook which is why I’m interested in this one ^

Great video 🙌🏾, thanks for opening it up. I was wondering what would be upgradable.
Thanks for watching, also just posted the full teardown video as well
Thanks for a great walk through of the PC. How is your recommendations compared to other similar laptops?
I would say anything with a AMD 7840hs, 8845hs would be a really good fit instead of this.

Thanks for watching, let me know if you want me to run any other benchmark or game happy to do so😊
Would you suggest this laptop for software development?
One thing I would check is, if the software you want to run supports Windows 11 ARM, otherwise I would say its a good pick battery life is great.
Should i buy it? please reply
Have u attempted to do any video editing with this laptop? If so, programs & results? 😎😎
