    Great vid Paul!
    Really can’t express how happy I am to see you posting Bricks vid’s.
    I’m currently rebuilding a large clientsite. Thought I’d made the jump and explored all the options.
    Landed with Bricks and tbh, every site from now on will be Bricks. Awesome builder.

    Seeing your previous videos on Bricks got me interested. So I took it for a testspin. Wow! Impressive. Come from Blocksy/Stackable, but will be switching over. The UI is much more smooth and things just seems easier and more intuitive to work with. Also like the new update cycle (every 1 to 2 weeks) - and the roadmap looks great too.
    Thanks for bringing Bricks to my attention :)

    I instantly switched to bricks a month ago. Took me a week to learn the interface and flexbox but got it quickly. The quick loading of the editor, easy navigation between pages and templates sold me right away. And of course the loop builder!

    One thing I didn't find is checking if a loop can be addressed by id/name and used as a condition (for example count of items in the loop) to display a block when it is 0 and remove the loop container entirely or in reverse display a container that shows something else when a loop is empty.

    This will open up the ability to create unique layouts for each operating system, and hence each range of screen widths. Hiding elements, which still included them in the code, is no longer necessary. The elements conditions don't include the code, so we can keep those sweet 99% page speeds. What a game changer.

    Great video as per usual. It may sound odd question, but, would you recommend “the switch” to someone who has been working with Elementor for two years now (from your personal POV)?

    • @WPTuts
      @WPTuts  Год назад

      That's really a personal choice. If you have specific tools/features you need or have plugins for Elementor that you rely on, then no.
      If that's not the case, I would suggest trying Bricks for yourself before potentially switching. As with everything, what works for me may not work for you. But, I do suggest trying it for yourself.
      You can run a sandbox test on the Bricks website and test the full editor out there.

    Bricks Builder is amazing. I'm not sure but if we have a "BricksBuilder Plugin", as a "page builder plugin" (in addition to theme) is very good. So we can use it in any theme that we choose (like Blocksy and so on)

    Interesting vid, is conditional logic available for form fields?

    • @WPTuts
      @WPTuts  Год назад

      It does not, no. The forms function in Bricks is very basic. I'd recommend using a dedicated form plugin to have that type of functionality.

  • @Atractiondj

    It would be great if the site had one modal window, and on the page there were several different buttons that would call the modal window, and depending on which button the user clicked, the heading would dynamically change in the modal window

    I bought Bricks a couple of weeks ago knowing I'd wait to use it until at least conditional logic would be introduced as I usually need it in my projects. I guess now I have no excuse anymore and should start building my first small website with it. Hoping for a satisfying learning curve ("wow, this works so much better than in Elementor"). Thanks for the quick intro video

    Dear Sir,
    I have already shifted from Elementor to Bricks Builder .
    The way Bricks is improving each day is awesome.
    Bricks is listening to users.
    Bricks Elements Conditions or should I say Conditional Logic integrated directly into Bricks Elements is a massive update according to me as its cutting down the number of plugins we would require for the same functions.
    Elementor's lack of innovation and the habit of not listening to its users made me rethink.
    So finally i left Elementor and moved to Bricks Builder.
    After a long time I saw your video on Bricks Builder.
    Rest is fine hear.
    Waiting for more of your videos on Bricks Builder.
    Till then keep yourself safe, healthy and happy,
    With greetings,
    Vivek Kumar ( Dehri On Sone, Bihar, India)
