What can you do to make your life a little more colorful? Dull is not a good place to be.

I own a houseplant shop and I know exactly what you mean about opening a retail store in order to further a passion. Just as you make your living through collecting amazing vintage fashion and passing it on, I get to “collect” rare plants and see them off to their new homes. It’s really gratifying; you get to “own” something beautiful for a while until it goes to its new owners.

Doris, I loved the little skirt with the colorful circles. I fell in love with the beautiful blue coat and blouse that you bout. Your channel is inspiring to change my dress again. My sister complimented me and encouraged me to dress like I use to. Being an older woman I see you can dress in beautiful clothes no matter what age. So I will be hitting up my thrift stores. I think it would be fune to do some theme videos - like showcasing items of a certain era, or a certain designer showing the progression in their work, or your best feathered items, most interesting leather pieces, maybe a showcase of some of the most valuable/expensive/hard to find pieces you have, I'd love to hear some stories and see your pieces with the most interesting provenance.
A showcase of extravagant/red carpet worthy gowns.
Maybe a mini materclass on Camp (since it's of interest following the Met Gala). A showcase of mixed media pieces, some little masterclasses on understanding/inspecting construction of a vintage garment.
The pieces you showed in this video were stunning, I love your passion and knowledge. I'd be curious to hear what you feel is missing from your collection or what your "white whale" pieces you are desperate to find are!

Hi Doris, I live in London, UK. I've started treasure hunting in charity shops for 80's dresses ( my fav ) since discovering your channel. Thanks for the addiction!! I really do look at clothes differently now.
Wow! That animal print set is from Atelier Versace Spring 1992 (worn by Yasmeen Ghauri on the runway) and the turquoise set is from Fall 1994 (worn by Helena Christensen)! Amazing! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Gianni Versace!

Gwen G. Hi Gwen. Not sure we will use a live model. We are trying to use the dress form more often. Unfortunately many of the pieces are smaller than a true US size 4. We do these videos on my iPhone about an hour before we open the store, so we are doing the best we can along with conducting business. I appreciate your suggestion and maybe down the road we can add a model.

In some of the Frock Stars scenes I noticed a beautiful piece of antique Assiut fabric in the background, draped over the side of a display case. As a lover of this unique textile, I'd love to see a close-up of the designs, and if you have other pieces, a full display of this wonderful bit of history.
